This album should be called Teary Eyes, because I couldn't stop crying while listening this messiness.

:bibliahh:a DRAG

the hayley shade is NOT cute in the blurb tho! paramore WILL be back in 5 years and miss hayley is serving qualiTEA

sleep at night :clap3: what a great taylor song :eli:

i had no idea noah cyrus had released an album tbh.  i guess thats why she got the bna nom lmao.

gonna have to hard disagree with your pfa assessment. :foot: i LOVED it, tho its not better than the best paramore albums obv. and your top songs from it are agreeable (as are katys)

4aem is such a huge song.  i ended up putting it on last year's list tho it came out pretty late.  it was top 5 actually.  glad to see it slaying here.  34+35 and the steps are cute sings

TOP 50 ALBUMS

UrpgsIH.png

32    La Roux | Supervision
"Thanks for playing keeper but I don't need a nine-to-five"
Well, this is a cute little sister to the masterpiece 'Trouble in Paradise'. A bit disappointing after 6 years of wait to get 8 (!!) 'b-sides' of already existing album, but I adored the sound of Trouble, so still loved the most of Supervision.
highlights: 21st Century, Do You Feel, Otherside, Gullible Fool

2pYFwpJ.png

31    Kiiara | lil kiiwi
"You make me into something you don't even like"
I used to be a big 'Gold' hater 5 years ago, but it aged so gracefully, so here I am bopping my ass off to Gold, Feels or Whippin. Pretty messy release consisting of some of her oldest singles, while some new ones popped out here. Just like the title suggest, it's a collection of cute minimalistic bops, but the main problem with this album is that the best tracks are still mostly belongs to Felix Snow production, which really downgrades new songs a bit. There's still some great highlights like I Still Do or Empty.
highlights: Empty, Whippin, Never Let You, Bad One

NEEEcYJ.png

30    Dixie Chicks | Gaslighter
"Highs and lows, we fought our wars with silence"
Amazing comeback from girls. It's catchy and emotional, political and resilent, angry and personal. There's many things album offers to you. Jack Antonoff production just elevetes their talent to the next level. The name-change is.. a choice :skull:
highlights: Everybody Loves You, For Her, My Best Friend's Weddings, Tights On My Boat

TOP 100 SINGLES

Smb2e2F.png

64    Toni Braxton, H.E.R. | Gotta Move On
"Tell me, would it burn, if the tables turned?"
Female collabs this year dominated and this one should've made some noise too. Emotional empowerment/cheating anthem with a legend on vocals and talented youth on background. HER' guitar solo just elevates this on another level :clap3:

hfW6Pmu.png

63    Róisín Murphy | Something More
"A crown upon my head, ten lovers in my bed, but I want something more"
Well, Ms. Murphy made some points here. I want more all the time too :fan: Amazing, luxurious, dark groovy anthem just takes you to a crazy trip of disco renaissance.

Bpm8BOe.png

62    Noah Cyrus | I Got So High That I Saw Jesus
"You just need me in your heart, Tennessee Whiskey and love"
Okay, this was major surprise considering messy title of the song. Acoustic-guitar/country driven ballad had such a warm, kind and spiritual feeling that made me fall in love with it immediatly.

n3b49iK.png

61    Harry Styles | Falling
"What if I'm someone I don't want around?"
This song just makes me wanna cry everytime. It questions such an important things in our lives. And music video is just mesmerizing.

TuPyhoE.png

60    Noah Cyrus | July
"You remind me every day I'm not enough, but I still stay"
I know this is pretty old song, but I ignored it in 2019 at all. And I was so wrong! After years of being try-hard and finding her sound, Noah finally releases her career-defining single. This is so touching and beautiful, lyrics are relatable and her soft voice suits acoustic guitar so much.

smile is good, people hate it too much, like why do you even expect katy to make anything deep (even though she has that capacity, see the one that got away!)

petals for armor is too low. i also thought the rollout was a mess with the eps and stuff :skull:

sleep at night, love looks better :clap3:

I hate that EP rollou messes, who the **** think this is a good idea? :rip:

Maybe I should check Noah's EP. She had my interest back when she was "getting ready to release" her "debut album" "NC-17" but then lost it once she changed her sound. Smile is mostly good, a bit overhated. Petals for Armor ended up disappointing plenty of Hayley/Paramore fans... luckily I can't say I'm one of them! Pure Love + Sugar On the Rim getting some love :smitten: and your Katy top 5 is pretty spot on! || Love Me Land :jamming: We're gonna pretend a certain math problem isn't there hehe

her new sound is much better than all try-hard things she did before :)

Imploding The Mirage & Petals for Armor made it into the list :clap3:

Natalie Don't, Daisies, Love Me Land & Sleep at Night are hits :clap3:

Grimes channeling her inner-Rosalía on steroid on 4aem. We love to hear it

I had expectations for this La Roux comeback album, but sadly it didn't meet any of them, perhaps it needs a re-listen

Something More a monumental song :clap3:

I hurd the La Roux album was underwhelming so I didn't bother

Something More has a lovely bridge :jonny2: don't really love the rest of the song tho :keir:

Hayley and Katy were meh, glad you panned Hayley a bit :fan: 34+35 terrible but very boppy indeed :clap3:
