The Guardians of the Galaxy 2 soundtrack is digital-only this week, with the CD being released next Friday, 4/28. The movie opens 5/5. Here’s how it looks at the moment. fridayteenage Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 not bad for incubus, considering that it was 80k 6 years ago. 37% drop in 6 years is much lower than the music industry decline.
FanOfPop Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 I wonder about the longevity of "Guardians Of The Galaxy" soundtrack. I mean the first one is still in the Top 50 best selling albums this year (almost three years after the release). Of course the sales changed a lot since the first movie but I think this won't go to streaming platforms as well as the first one so it should be interesting. Also with releasing physicals the next week and premiere of the movie two weeks later is pretty smart imo and should keep the sales alive for the soundtrack a little more.

Older people seem to love that compilation of songs Even my dad bought it.
