Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 11, 2020 Author Posted December 11, 2020 85. Black Parade - Beyonce from the soundtrack The Lion King: The Gift (June 19, 2020) Quote I actually like this song, as part of charity single. But it's abviously not lead-single material. I really love her vocals on this song. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 84. Diamonds - Sam Smith from the album Love Goes (September 18, 2020) Quote I love when Sam goes full pop on this era (and the original era before Love Goes). It Is yet another pop song in the nu-disco and to me this is one of their best singles to date. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 83. React - The Pussycat Dolls (February 7, 2020) Quote The song is solid. Honestly the best comeback single. Nicole is still the main and lead singer but I don't expect the other 4 girls to sing anyway. But they still doing harmonies in the backgroud which is sounds beautiful. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 82. Don't Stop (feat. Young Thug) - Megan Thee Stallion from the album Good News (October 2, 2020) Quote This song is a huge BOP. Even thought the lyrics are too repetitive & Young Thug not doing much to this song but who care about that when Megan once again shows us that she can be a powerhouse in every song and she does not need anyone in this song because she has an amazing and sharp flow with interesting and unique production to it. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 81. Why Not? - Loona from the EP [12:00] (October 20, 2020) Quote Ooh la la, a wae a wae a wae. Ooh la la, waewae an dwae an dwae. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 80. The Bigger Picture - Lil Baby from the album My Turn (Deluxe) (June 12, 2020) Quote This song is so underrated. I know that most people really don't take Lil Baby too seriously as an artist, but this song kinda open my mind towards him. This song will be remembered most from the crop of music made in response to the murder of George Floyd and probably would be stample of protest song's against police brutality. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 79. Break Up Song - Little Mix from the album Confetti (March 27, 2020) Quote This song is the best singles from their album, Confetti. Kinda reminds me of Girls Aloud singles from Tangled Up or Out of Control and also has a big replay value too. A classic girl-group pop song. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 78. Say So - Doja Cat from the album Hot Pink (January 24, 2020) Quote This is breezy lovely song that equivalent to swimming into pink cooton candy, you know what I mean? I put this lower on my list because i kinda tired of this song lol and also Dr. Puke is on this credit, whether he's heavily involve in this production or same slap his name on the credit dd Spotify Apple Music Youtube 77. 10% (feat. Kali Uchis) - Kaytranada from the album Bubba (December 9, 2019) Quote The song is heavenly. I really like how simple the beat is, it keeps the groove going. The sample really kicks in and let Kali's voice shine. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 76. I Finally Understand - Charli XCX from the album How I'm Feeling Now (May 7, 2020) Quote At first listen, the song sonds very lowkey and basic, but then it grew on me and I can't stop listening to it. But the song sounds better when you listen as part of her album. Spotify Apple Music Youtube
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 11, 2020 Author Posted December 11, 2020 85. Untitled (Black Is) - SAULT (June 19, 2020) Quote This albums is captivating from start to finish. It's an extremely moving album with inspiring, boasting an old-school soulful atmosphere. But damn this album has 20 tracks on it and honestly i can't keep up some of the times. Top 3: Wildfires, Why We Cry Why We Die & Sorry Ain't Enough Spotify Apple Music Youtube 84. Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial - Roddy Ricch (December 6, 2019) Quote This is a really impressive debut album. If you're into Trap and Pop Rap, definitely give this a shot. if you haven't already, you might find a lot to like about this. I for one am very interested in where he will go from here. Top 3: High Fashion, Roll Dice & The Box Spotify Apple Music Youtube 83. Heaven & Hell - Ava Max (September 18, 2020) Quote This is a good fun pop album. The “Heaven” part of this album was executed nicely since it accomplishes it’s goal on being upbeat and energetic but the “Hell” part is just a bit more darker and it blends in more with it and it makes it feel more one and the same rather than 2 different sides or personalities. which is disappointing. This whole album definitely sounds like radio friendly hits with catchy production and melodies and hooks that appeals to many people. Top 3: Naked, Torn & Salt Spotify Apple Music Youtube 82. Delight - Baekhyun (May 25, 2020) Quote I love this and i feel like this is completely indifferent from his debut which is not a bad thing. At first, I didn't like this at all but it really grows on me really quick. Top 3: Underwater, Love Again & R U Ridin'? Spotify Apple Music Youtube 81. No Pressure - Logic (July 24, 2020) Quote I had really low expectations for this album considering Logic's last two albums are dogsh*t. So imagine my shock how the same guy can make a surprisingly consistent and even enjoyable project like this one. Top 3: Soul Food II, Open Mic\\Aquarius III & DadBod Spotify Apple Music Youtube 80. Club Future Nostalgia - Dua Lipa (September 11, 2020) Quote I knew that the Blessed Madonna continous remix album is really polarizing for a lot of people but as a individual remix album, this has a pretty good collection of remixes that some might be better than the original version. Top 3: Love Is Religion (The Blessed Madonna Remix), Love Again (Horse Meat Disco Remix) & That Kind of Woman (Jacques Lu Cont Remix) Spotify Apple Music Youtube 79. Heavy Is the Head - Stormzy (December 13, 2019) Quote This album shows that Stormzy is one of the most popular British rappers. The versatility when he jumping from softer songs to some of the hardest hitting songs I've heard is impressive. He tackles subjects like race and personal relationships with strong lyricism. Top 3: Wiley Flow, Vossi Bop & Crown Spotify Apple Music Youtube 78. All Out - K/DA (November 6, 2020) Quote In this EP, K/DA delivers loud blend of K-Pop and electro pop with the production allows the featured artits to show-off their skills with blasting instrumentals. Top 3: I'll Show You, More & Drum Go Dum Spotify Apple Music Youtube 77. Hide and Seek - Weki Meki (June 18, 2020) Quote This EP shows Meki Weki that they aren't one trick pony and can deliver one of the best albums in Kpop this year. Top 3: The Paradise, Dazzle Dazzle & Moya Moya Spotify Apple Music Youtube 76. Show Pony - Orville Peck (August 14, 2020) Quote It's a cute mini album. after all, this is just cashing off of his debut album Pony. But nevertheless, it's still pleasure to hear his voice again. Top 3: Fancy, Kids & No Glory in the West Spotify Apple Music Youtube
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 11, 2020 Author Posted December 11, 2020 75. Rodeo (Remix) [feat. Nas) - Lil Nas X (January 27, 2020) Quote This is arguably Lil Nas X's best singles yet. It has that smooth, cool western production that delivers much more effectively than Old Town Road. Even though I really like Cardi's version but I prefer the single remix with Nas. But only thing i don't like about this remix is how the instrumental randomly disappears during Nas's part like, what was the reason?! Spotify Apple Music Youtube 74. Sugar - Sufjan Stevens from the album The Ascension (September 15, 2020) Quote I can't believe he buried Maroon 5's song just like that. These sugar would iave me diabetes in the long run, so i shoud've not consume this really often. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 73. 덤더럼 (Dumhdurum) - Apink from the EP Look (April 13, 2020) Quote This is another standout from Apink. It's effortlessly catchy just like their previous title tracks and they providing an addictive hook that stuck in my head for a very long time. They just can't stop losing every comeback and I'm so glad they still making music even they release it annually. Imagine in your 9 years of career as a group and you still receiving success left and right. Other girles wish as powerful as Apink. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 72. Group B - Tyler, the Creator (January 25, 2020) Quote The lyrics "Find some young twink and get my nipples sucked" is enough for me to put this on my list Spotify Apple Music Youtube 71. At the Door - The Strokes from the album The New Abnormal (February 11, 2020) Quote I haven’t really listen to their body of work since "Is This It?" so I went into this with very low expectations, and I’m just absolutely loved this. I'm so glad that they've been experimenting with different styles, this is stunning. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 70. Adore You - Harry Styles from the album Fine Line (December 6, 2019) Quote I think this might be the best singles to come out Fine Line era. Also the backing vocals in this are stunning and the guitar solo are the highlight of the song. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 69. Gullible Fool - La Roux from the album Supervision (December 5, 2019) Quote After not releasing new music for a long time, They released their new album this year "Supervision" and I must to say that I really dissapointed with it. But on the other hand, this song a masterpiece. People can say what they want about their newest album but I will defend this song for eternity. No questions about it. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 68. Describe - Perfume Genius from the album Set My Heart on Fire Immediately (February 25, 2020) Quote I'm feeling myself everytime this song comes on. No it's true, it's true. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 67. Over Now - Calvin Harris and the Weeknd (August 28, 2020) Quote This song is kinda dissapointing at least for me. Abel is a perfect choice for a track like this and he does a great job with his vocals gliding over the production with ease. The outro definitely elevates the track. Spotify Apple Music Youtube 66. Hit Different (feat. Ty Dolla Sign, Pharrell Williams and The Neptunes) - SZA (September 4, 2020) Quote This is actually one of top tier sza for me. Would never have thought that this was The Neptunes production, but the more i listen it kinda makes sense. The chemistry between both of them makes the song more sensual. Spotify Apple Music Youtube
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 11, 2020 Author Posted December 11, 2020 75. Monster - Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi (July 6, 2020) Quote All the tracks on the EP offer your usual nice SM vocals and consistent production and i don’t even mind that we are getting a K-Pop song with dubstep elements in it in 2020. Yes, i'm talking about the title track 'Monster'. Honestly, this EP sounds just like those long-Pantene commercial songs. Top 3: Naughty, Feel Good & Uncover Spotify Apple Music Youtube 74. Starry Night - BoA (December 11, 2019) Quote This EP is the reason why I still love BoA until this day. Top 3: I Don't Mind, Black & 말린 장미 (Dry Flower) Spotify Apple Music Youtube 73. Made in Lagos - Wizkid (October 30, 2020) Quote A very consistent album with a strong reggae influence. Right up on Wizkid's style. I just realized that H.E.R. has so many featured in so many song on my albums list. She's on a roll this year, huh? Top 3: True Love, Smile & Blessed Spotify Apple Music Youtube 72. Swimmer - Tennis (February 14, 2020) Quote This album is not as strong as their previous album, But it still very enjoyable album. The songs can be a little same-y at times, but when the songwriting is up to the task, Tennis can create some wonderful effervescent pop ditties that will lodge themselves in your brain and beg to be replayed again and again. Top 3: Swimmer, Need Your Love & Matrimony II Spotify Apple Music Youtube 71. I Disagree - Poppy (January 10, 2020) Quote This is really amazing. This goes hard and gives me all of the stuff that I like from metal. I like her voice, I like the cute breaks and instrumental quirks, and Poppy's personality shines through. Top 3: I Disagree, Bloodmoney & Concrete Spotify Apple Music Youtube 70. Good News - Megan thee Stallion (November 20, 2020) Quote Megan Thee Stallion still shows that she is easily the most skillful rapper on these fun trap songs in Good News. This album makes me love her even more and she proves herself that she has the staying power to become an ever bigger and well rounded artist than she is currently. With great production and catchy bars and hooks to keep people coming back. The 'Invest in this p*ssy, boy, support Black business' alone is the reason why this album worth listen to me. Top 3: Shots Fired, Savage Remix & Sugar Baby Spotify Apple Music Youtube 69. Positions - Ariana Grande (October 30, 2020) Quote I've enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would've. This album is an extremely chill experience that gets you in the mood for some reason. The production is on point and has some interesting mixing of violins and other more chill instruments, with the beats having some melodies that stuck in my head. Choruses are catchy, but are very predictable though. Oh yes, And yes, i put this on #69. 34+35 ha impact! Top 3: POV, Just Like Magic & Safety Net Spotify Apple Music Youtube 68. Fine Line - Harry Styles (December 13, 2019) Quote This is kind of ambitious, well-crafted pop album that Harry himself feels comfortable making it. it's an improvement on almost all fronts and is definitely worth a listen. Top 3: Adore You, She & Fine Line Spotify Apple Music Youtube 67. Unfollow the Rules - Rufus Wainwright (July 10, 2020) Quote Rufus Wainwright expanded his folk rock sound with classical instruments, mostly strings and woodwinds, but also some synths. He has a phenomenal voice. And on this release, when the songs work, they really work. I do wish there were a few more uptempo tracks to keep the pace going, but this is a really solid album. Top 3: Hatred, Early Morning Madness & Trouble in Paradise Spotify Apple Music Youtube 66. Velvet - Adam Lambert (March 20, 2020) Quote This is Adam's most consistent album yet. But sadly, i kinda see this might not end up being as loved as his previous previous, which is shame to be honest. I really love the production, the thick sound and I think this style just really fits Adam's voice so well. There's this classy and smooth feel to the album that kind of cheers me up. Top 3: Overglow, Velvet & Roses Spotify Apple Music Youtube

ARTPØP Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Diamonds, React, Say So, Adore You Heaven & Hell, Club FN, Fine Line -- great albums
Mezik Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Quote 85. Black Parade - Beyonce 83. React - The Pussycat Dolls 82. Don't Stop - Megan Thee Stallion 80. The Bigger Picture - Lil Baby 79. Break Up Song - Little Mix 78. Say So - Doja Cat 77. 10% - Kaytranada 76. I Finally Understand - Charli XCX 75. Rodeo (Remix) [feat. Nas) - Lil Nas X 74. Sugar - Sufjan Stevens 70. Adore You - Harry Styles @ all these songs. Honestly, 'Break Up Song' is LM's best lead single. Don't @ me. The way it completely captured my attention and made me STAN for them. All their previous efforts had me like 'meh', but this single caught me by the hook. Say So, Don't Stop and React are also all ***** popping bops and makes me unleash my inner hoe. Adore You is so cute, and I find Harry even more adorable in the music video.
Ewan Chaos Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Yeah Sam SNAPPED with Diamond. I wonder what made them decide to copy/paste a bunch of boring ballads onto their refurbished album 3? Ah well, hopefully they pay attention to the criticism and make a new album in the vein of DWAS/HDYS/Diamonds and, if ballads are needed, To Die For. Tennis SLAYED me with their album this year.
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 12, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 12, 2020 fine line best album here adore you, diamonds and react are cute. i really need to check out the new la roux single/album(?)
Pink Matter Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 omg at all the good content! Always good to see %10 stans Over Now gets too much disrespect so glad to see it get some love here! Black Parade, Say So, Hit DIfferent Diamonds is Sam at their best! Why they won't just stick to an electronic/dance sound when all their best songs are in that vein is beyond me Fine Line was a cute album and it had some decent staying power with me! Positions is also v solid no matter what ATRL says Tennis was solid and it's always nice to see some CFN love
