RAM is one of those albums thats not actually that good, but still had a huge impact on music. im mixed on it. my fave on this is probably the alvvays album, its the perfect dream pop throwback mixed with a twee throwback. somehow felt acceptable in 2010s still. and omg, the dum dum girls miss them, i liked kristin kontrols solo project a lot to I honestly do. Beyoncé was an excellent record. I think one of her tracks made it to that year's personal Top 100. 20 hours ago, Remmy said: BEYONCÉ and Unorthodox Jukebox My 2nd favorite albums from both. ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 6, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 6, 2020 that wild nothing album got a lot of hate iirc, was undeserved if you ask me
perpetual novice Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 The effort that must have gone into compiling a decade list, well done
TheWayWeWere Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I used to like Two Door Cinema Club, but they kinda fell out of my radar
Tom Vercetti Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Surprised to see Indigo ahead of Gemini. Latter's my favorite of his. I used to listen to Kurt Vile a few years ago. His 2015 was the entry point so I have some attachment to it. The War On Drugs album is also nice but I can only play it for certain moods.
Bubble Tea Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 This is a serious endeavor. Gosh I haven't checked for Two Door Cinema Club for a while but I used to really like them. They have a cool remix of Gaga's "Electric Chapel" too - pretty sure it's on Spotify.
Remmy Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 I got excited seeing Two Door Cinema Club because I thought it was Tourist History but it's Beacon, which is basically just a bunch of TH B-Sides I think I've only listened to that album twice while I've heard the other 3 plenty of times. Sun & Settle are solid highlights at least. Quote Haha. I wonder how many people had to final edit their lists minutes before the end of the year. I remember plenty of people did Pretty sure I had it on my 2014 list so it was too late for me, plus it needed time to grow anyway.
Ewan Chaos Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Marika's album is awesome. And then lots of albums where I either prefer other albums/have only listened to another album from that artist (Sunflower Bean, Wild Nothings). Again, will need to check some out...
potent Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 The War on Drugs, TDCC, and White Lies - I like the singles from each album but never listened in full! I really liked Tourist History from TDCC though
Lazuli Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 lost in the dream listened to the wild nothings, tdcc and white lies albums once and i think they were cute
ikiru Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Beyoncé's self-titled album is def her best work to date Too True, wow, I completely forgot about this album, I loved it back then!

Did you have some method or just listed them all first and then kept switching their positions? I printed 8 Excel pages with the 400 albums and rated each song from each album one by one. The score was obtained after dividing the total sum by the number of tracks and then multiplying it by ten. Example: Album 1 (8 tracks): 10 9 9 7 8 9 8 7 = 67/8 = 8.375 times TEN = 83.75 = Score: 84 23 hours ago, Madame X said: that wild nothing album got a lot of hate iirc, was undeserved if you ask me Totally.
