Wait what's the "Cyber Sex" meme? I don't know anything about it haha.
Staryu Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 enemy and cyber sex love the pics you're using too, making me hungry

Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Oh wait i forgot Lindsay released music this year Back to Me is decent but Lindsay girl, we need Xanax full version. Maybe the sample isn't cleared that's why dd Comme Des Garçons, Vulnerable, Super Duper Party People is the 1-2-3 punch right there Enemy is truly the highlight of HIFN and 911 and it's MV carried chromatica (Alongside ROM) from completely over. Poor it.
Alex Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 DOJA yup yup 1 hour ago, mokitsu said: it came from the queen of brooklyn (you might know her from an iconic street interview from years ago) honestly idk why its so funny now but this + other videos of her singing and dancing to it kept going viral a true stan
Bubble Tea Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 16. Broken Glass - Kygo feat. Kim Petras When I first heard this song I was a bit like “What’s this generic EDM banger sis…” knowing full well Kimberly is capable of a lot more, and far catchier stuff. HOWEVER - as time went on I became a stan, and the LEWKS Miss Petras serves in this video are literally ground-breakingly good, that it all won me over and now I love the song and think of it as a bop. I also really love the lyric “Nobody does a tragedy like you and me.” It resonated at the time as I was thinking of a past relationship and how it most depressingly fell apart despite our mutual appreciation for each other. The song pops off - let’s just leave it at that. 15. Resentment - Kesha I’ve seen a lot of High Road slander in other rates already and I must say it makes me sad cause I just want Kesha to succeed sooooo bad and I guess without Dr R**e she is a very different artist to the gal who smashed with “TiK ToK” and “We R Who We R” etc. Anyway I won’t say her music goes awwwfffff these days but she does still put out CUTE songs - none more so than “Resentment.” It feels fresh, it feels like ~musique~ and it feels honest and meaningful as a song. We all love a cute party anthem and a silly ballad about love but sometimes it’s nice to have something of a different subject matter that we can relate to in different ways. This song just does that, and Kesha’s voice is at its best. 14. Positions - Ariana Grande TBH I wrote this list a while ago and now I’m back to write this blurb and I’m kinda wondering what this song is doing here. Anyway - I CBF updating it but the facts are this isn’t really that good-of-a-song haha. It is cute though and I always appreciate an Ari bop. I listened through Positions album once and didn’t find much to stan other than 34+35 which is cute but definitely not earth-shattering, aside from tweens who think the title is so clever when it’s simply not lol. She’s serving blackface low key in the video yet again but she’s been doing it for so long and without anyone seriously reprimanding her for it that it’s become silly. Anyway, a fun song - “not gonna change the world” as one of her collaborators on something else said lol.
Mr. Loco Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 911 is a bop... Chromatica was really a wasted era tbh
Remmy Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 enemy is fine, not in love with Positions but it's cute enough. "I’m kinda wondering what this song is doing here" 911 Yup yup we love her! Resentment is nice But are you hinting that you haven't heard her album Rainbow? Because there's plenty of songs on there that are slower & more vulnerable. Also High Road is definitely overhated (but also not without its flaws for sure.)
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 7, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 7, 2020 positions is cute BUT BETTER SONGS PLEASE SISTER
Lazuli Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 the 911 video really made me interested in the song too enemy resentment is so good positions is a cute gorl
Mezik Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Your taste for slutty sex anthems is truly astounding, and needs to be commended. 911 is probably my new favourite track from Chromatica with the intro, it's just such a moment. Positions was cute, but not her best work. As well, Kesha's Resentment disappointed me.. but then again everything after Rainbow did.
K$Ellie Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Cyber Sex absolutely iconic bc of this queen shjfds the way I like some songs from Charli, Kesha, Ari and Gaga's albums but not the ones you picked
TheWayWeWere Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 I didn't even liked 911 before the MV release how visuals make song better Enemy is one of my favorites from HIFN Doja's album full of hot bops
Psycho Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 I liked all of #19-17 Broken Glass too generic for me Resentment glad to see someone else appreciate it Positions meh
Bubble Tea Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 13. Love Me Wrong - Allie X feat. Troye Sivan Another album I’ve seen too much slander for in these rates, Cape God is what we call ART hunnies and I’m sorry that gays aren’t checking for Allie X when she’s not serving Barbie / Hollywood aesthetics but Super Sunset simply isn’t an accurate representation of what Allie is all about. I feel like Cape God Allie is her at her best and most authentic - it was a great album earlier in the year when New Zealand was in lockdown and my hopes, dreams, goals and relationship had all crumbled and I was feeling LOW. Needless to say “Love Me Wrong” had me feeling some kind of way - and Troye is serving cute af vocals too. It’s a nice song when you’re depressed and life is falling apart. Luckily I’m not there anymore BUT it’s nice to reminisce on both good and bad times sometimes - the whole experience of life. 12. High Road - Kesha The true HIGH of “High Road” - we stan! From the second I heard this song I knew it was a bop and a highlight of the album. I love the lyrics - she’s very self-aware. “Could a bitch who’s dumb write a number one? More than one? More than two? Yeah, more than you.” Like we love a confident LEGEND! She damn well should be proud of her success and losers love to be like “Kesha is an industry puppet, nothing without Dr R**e” and it’s like… she wrote those god damn songs uglies. She’s a prolific songwriter. People LOVE to discredit females in the industry though, we been knew. People HATE women with more than one talent, when they’re a real threat. And we LOVE to see Kesha LAUGH at them and remind them they can’t do what she can - succeed and be a legendary queen about it. 11. Smile - Katy Perry Drag me or whatever - but I kinda love this song. It’s cute and the video is super fun and I love how hard Katy went with promo despite being heavily pregnant and with a lockdown - it says a lot about her (or potentially her binding contract lol) but she cares about the music she puts out and she cares about her fans, giving them cute covers, acoustic versions and videos even if they’re a bit meh at times - it’s better than nothing. I think “Smile” is a really cleverly written song, I love the line “now I’ve got a smile like Lionel Richie” which, even though we all know is a cringe plug for American Idol, is also a great line cause anyone that knows Lionel knows his smile is legendary. In short, we stan this Katy era - it was fun. Not her best - but who in 2020 was at their best tbh.
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 7, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 7, 2020 911 is def the most instant album cut. i was stanning down. still love it, though now its like 3rd or 4th place and not 1st
Sunderland 4ever Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 So many updates! Enemy is probably my favorite off the last three installments.
