Run ended up being by far the best song, he killed my hype with the pushback and the album ended up being quite long and fillery anyway  my main issue was that whole middle section with all the features, those pretty much all sucked but the start and finish were solid. 777 was another standout

so my expectations for this were HIGH and i think part of the reason why she was dragged so hard for this album is bc everyone expected it to be amazing and it just... wasn't  but it's not unlistenable or anything, just severely disappointing with a lot of basic fillers. But still, the first and last few songs are really good  mostly wish it were more experimental like the singles

Erm so this was a big step down from Part 1 which was already a bit underwhelming. the title track didn't work for me, the most i listened the worse it would get and the best song by far was the 2 year old Japanese one

Sufjan album is kinda dissapointing. But since most of his previous albums are all 10/10, Ascension seems like a massive turd compare to them dd

My favorite is The New Abnormal by miles! Glad to know you gave it a decent score. The Ascension is my second favorite. As for other albums I've heard, there is Joji's Nectar. I only played it once, though.

Punisher is good. Just got into her discography 2 weeks ago and yeah, she's not completely for me but I like her enough to keep listening. Romance at #61... you're very generous! A Little Rhythm and a Wicked Feeling YUP Not very satisfied with its placement though

The way I really can't remember much about the Magdalena Bay songs I listened to this year  nor Never Gonna Dance Again Pt. 2 except the fact that I liked the Korean version of an old song the best.

 

I'm kinda interested in listening to Joji, but idk if he makes really long songs or tries too hard to be deep or w/e because I don't resonate with that!!

meh Run was the best song so you don't need to bother, 777 was a big synthpop bop so you might wanna check that

Kii yeah that's Exclusive, easily the best sing

he doesn't fit into either of those categories but his discography isn't good enough for me to recommend him to anyone outside of a handful of sings

Same, my expectations were through the roof for her proper debut album and it wasn't much better than her mixtapes other than sounding... less cheap?

IDEA had good verses but idk the more I listened to it, the more I hated the chorus

They've really stepped it up this year with their b-sides and they're all HOT  minus like 2 members

it's really not that bad, I think it was mostly hated bc of camila herself but the album tracks are v nice
