If she's only putting out 8 songs at a time she might wanna pick up the pace cause every 2 years ain't it  this was a lovely release, only My Flowers felt kinda weak compared to the other songs but literally everything else slaps. I guess she considers it an EP but 8 songs is enough to make my album list  You Sad kinda gives me SZA teas and her flow on 24K is very Azealia to me

had this significantly lower but then I decided not to include the deluxe songs which were completely useless and made the album such a chore to get through. The standard songs are all great, my least fave is probably Heartless but even that grew on me. Even though the standard is like 50m and 14 songs it's still an effort to listen to sometimes tbh but I'd say it's easily his 2nd or 3rd best album (haven't listened to EOS in a while). Only thing is it doesn't have big standouts that his past albums had I think, and Blinding Lights quite overrated

hadn't heard anything from her other than Human before but this is excellent  Wallflower and Rhode give me PJ Harvey vibes? idk why, but those are my faves anyway   Darkest Hour has those synths that come in in the second half  only complaint is some of the more stripped back songs like Gole Bi and Human Nature, they're not bad by any means but not as good as the other sings

ahhhhhh this is exactly the type of r&b that I love  it's chill and vibey but not boring like Jhene or some of the other girls, like the production on songs like Morocco has a real kick to it and doesn't sound like a basic r&b song  I think Alina's voice really makes the album as well. there were honestly like 2-3 songs that could have been cut but nothing offensively bad at all. after Who Got Me, I only really use Take It Home and ofc Until I Met You, the others could have been cut and she'd be around an 8.8 I think

for some reason I didn't like the singles when they were first out, they only hit me after the album came out but then i disliked the album tracks  this took a little while to get into but eventually it hit me  I'm not gonna make the bold statement that this is their best album or anything but it's the one I've been able to get into all the way through, I only use a few songs from the others  I guess I can see why people were disappointed but I love it x

I'm not gonna name the 2 songs that ruined this album's score cause we all know but everything else is lovely and could have been maybe a 9.0  for some reason Don't Start Now and Future Nostalgia (song) didn't hit me until the very end of 2019 so I didn't include them in my list  unlike a lot of albums on my list that I think are consistent with no standouts or fillers, this has multiple 10/10s and two absolutely horrible songs x

wish I got to listen to this album more but it got overshadowed by other releases at the time, I have to get back into it properly before the end of the year but I didn't find this underwhelming at all despite what everyone else said  my least fave is the title track and even that's v cute. Very consistent and cohesive album which is always appreciated  TSWIB is an absolute stunner tho whew, easily my fave

can't believe I was seriously thinking of skipping out on this until I saw everyone acclaiming it in the thread weirdly enough this felt like a mixtape and critics seemed to be ignoring it so I thought it was just sumn she put out there for the fans. Might be an unpopular opinion but I like this a lot more than Isolation (I should probs re-listen tho) cause it doesn't feel too long or samey. the Rico song grew on me SO much, I remember not liking it when it was released as a single and thought it was filler when I heard the album but I love it now  telepatia probably her best song ever  Would have been a flawless album if it weren't for those two reggaeton features at the end, those totally drag the album down but I guess they're still decent enough

another severely overhated album imo  it's almost on par with Art Angels and Visions for me and basically has no filler at all except maybe 4aem which they reworked and made worse since the demo leaked  Delete Forever is such a cute Belly Of The Beat 2.0, glad it's getting sum acclaim on year end lists  we need My Name Is Dark (Remix) ft/ Odd Eye Circle ASAP!!!!!!

this is basically a Beach House album but lowkey more interesting and consistent. Don't mean that as a drag cause while most Beach House albums sound very samey they're still good and have amazing highlights, this just executes the dream-pop sound in a more diverse way  the 9 minute long opener doesn't feel like it drags at all and serves as a great introduction. The Prophet -> Neon Lights are easily the best songs and a bit of a 1-2 punch  only complaint is that they could have spread out the interludes a bit. But overall it's a lovely atmospheric album

oh my god yess  i had listened to ibh earlier this year and forgot about it, only to recently return.  SO good, its like lana meets beach house,  i think its really musically interesting and the intro track is just stunning.

glad to see you are not underrating miss anthropocene.  her reputation kinda sucks rn but its still a good album.

I liked The Slow Rush, I don't get why everyone is hating it, it's hard for me to remember a lot of the songs by title though because they don't have the title in it or at least in the chorus  so I get them confused with each other

Lost in Yesterday one of their best songs ever, we also stan Posthumous Forgiveness/Tomorrow's Dust/Breathe Deeper

 

BL could probably get all the praise in the world and I still wouldn't call it overrated so  Scared to Live a great choice though

Don't Start Now being #1 for FN I don't really agree with though, I'd pick Physical or Love Again

Good in Bed ok fine but I don't hate BWBB tbh  I guess it's just too cheesy but it's fine to me

 

I think I had listened to Delete Forever and kinda liked it but I don't really remember tbh, the song I like most from Grimes that I heard was Flesh Without Blood

Simulation feels quite repetitive to me, Turn by IBH for example is 9m and doesn't feel long at all

I haven't loved Charli since Pop 2 tbh  and as long as you've heard 1 Billion Views (song) you don't need to listen to the album but it's cute enough x

 

they're both cute pop albums full of bops  Raye is v short as well

Ungodly Hour is great too - I finally gave it a listen a while back and they're immensely talented.

after hours doesn't have many standout tracks, but listening to it is still such a great experience imo

future nostalgia is an incredible pop album, i hated it for a while but now i absolutely love it again

Euphoric Love Songs  After Hours  Yup, the deluxe tracks are useless + Heartless is a grower. Under My Influence, Ungodly Hour, Plastic Hearts, Future Nostalgia ahhh all of these are so good  The 2 Future Nostalgia low points are overhated though. Angels Like You, Love of Your Life, Thought of You, Do It, Forgive Me, Lonely, Scared to Live, In Your Eyes, Too Late, Don't Start Now, Levitating, Hallucinate in your trinities Your Aces top 2 kinda sucks  Prisoner is great but is surprisingly outside of my top 5.
