I think Ava is a good vocalist with potential, she just hasn't gotten the live experience yet especially with COVID cancelling concerts..

I really enjoyed Jack Garratt's album! Don't bother with his previous album; it was fine but clearly more label-controlled for hits lol. Return Them to the One is SOOOO fun to me.

How i listened/loved nearly every album in that page 2 update! Boss Bitch was my bop early this year, its what made me pay attention to Doja tbh. Smile the album had some good moments and I agree that Katy should pull off a new direction music wise to come back inspired and new. The title track was not bad, I liked it a lot  but is a prime example of the criticism you mentioned. I dont count Never Really Over as part of the album cause we all know it wasnt really intended for it but as a standalone it's really one of the best songs of her career- an easy top 10, top five if we are being brave and Daises is soooo beautiful.

Off Justin's album i really liked Intentions, i played it a lot this year and it feels so chill and fresh and the harmonies at the end are solid imo- the R&B influence he was talking about was all over this album. I liked Carly's album, both the first part and Side B and YESSSSS for miss Ava :clap3: girl delivered a solid debut album.

Dedicated Side B and Heaven & Hell are my faves here. Both are albums I just heard this month.

Kehlani's album was okay, but yeah, such a step-back since debut, which I still ADORE so much

Love Kehlani

I didn’t know Jack Garrat droppes an album this year. I might check it out

I paid some attention to the music while watching Birds of Prey (twice) but nothing really stood out to me :matty: Boss Bitch is probably the only Doja song I've enjoyed so far.

Her album has so many fun bops though!?

I agree with the assessment of Bieber's album, except I also use Intentions.

Carly's was cute, and Ava puts out some good bops!

Thanks, i've forgotten what any of justin's album sounds like.

i loved jack garrat's 2016 album (his debut i think). if you liked this one check it out! at least the singles, they're great. he also produced katy perry's "power" from witness.

and i agree with you on kehlani. such a step backwards. it was a very bland album imo - water and can i were the only highlights for me.

Power really? wow so he's a producer as well.

101. Stages - Jade Novah 91. Anyone (Live From The 62nd GRAMMY ® Awards) - Demi Lovato
100. Gloves Up - Little Mix 90. just like magic - Ariana Grande

Notes: 'Kids Again' & 'To Die For' are quintessential Sam ballads, beautifully sung, beautiful lyrics, adequate emotion. They are spectacular at executing these types of songs and these are highlights that I LOVE, I wish the latter was a more than a bonus track. 'So Serious' is honest to his personality, but also very relateable. I don't know Charlotte but I really enjoyed this song from the Birds of Prey soundtrack. Little Mix has produced one of their best albums, and 'Confetti' and 'Gloves Up' are great bops on the album that showcase upbeat production and shining vocals! I didn't want a ballad from Madison but 'Selfish' was a surprise fave that I enjoyed and i'm glad she recorded it, she pulled it off very well. Is that high note at the end of 'Belladona' legit?? Because WOW Ava.. 'Colour Vision' is one of the best album openers of 2020, period. I discovered KAYWHT and she has excellent control of her voice, her runs are brilliant! Wow! This is one of many highlights on her EP and I really hope she finds success soon! :jonny2: 'Anyone' (the live version) was an extremely vulnerable moment for the songstress and vocally she sounded spectacular live on stage! As a previous stan it tugged my heart strings, particularly the heartbreaking lyrics like "Nobody's listening to me" and "Anyone, please send me anyone, Oh, Lord, is there anyone? I need someone". It's a very difficult song for me to re-listen to but it is her most powerful and I will forever praise her for that performance. :clap3::clap3:

Sudden DesiiiIIIIIRE! Queen of sex and belting!

So Serious is a great and underrated pick. The little electronic blips or whatever in the chorus are really reminiscent of like... Daft Punk I wanna say. Probably my favorite non-single!
