Good highlights for Brightest Blue, except maybe Close to Me although it is kind of a grower (I wouldn't put it top 3 though)

LANY's is one of the few songs worth listening to from 'mama's boy'  It's cute and a good album opener.

No one wants to wake up to the news I woke up to this morning. No one. I was preparing my coffee, turning on wi-fi and the first thing I read is: “135. Jessie Ware "Spotlight" [2 songs left]”. I blinked my eyes countless times and I went on ATRL just to see more and more posts about it. I couldn’t believe it. My Jessie Ware dream was over and there I was at 8AM sitting in my kitchen looking at the screen of my iPhone.

 

I know this may sound a bit too much but… Yes. Tears started falling from my eyes and they wouldn’t stop. I don’t consider this to be an over dramatic reaction like many of you could easily consider. I look at it as unconditional love, dedication and passion. Something unexplainable, no one can translate love into words or even admiration. Some people get your attention and you don’t know why. And while I am fully aware that Jessie Ware is not over, she's just down to two songs, I also am aware that it’s never going to be the same. It doesn’t matter if it is Soul Control or Read My Lips or Save a Kiss or What's Your Pleasure? or The Kill. It doesn’t. I saw this song being released when no one was making music like this. A year later it turned into a new trend. She brought the term “disco” back in the music industry and scored one of the most acclaimed hits of this new decade. I was obsessed and extremely proud of it.

She tweeted that it was the lead, even after releasing Fresh Laundry + Regulars  It's also my least favorite from Cape God like why did she do the era so dirty... FL was released too early anyway, Regulars could've made it & would've easily been top 50.

That's true, Witness was weak on day 1 and it's still the same now  Yeah I was expecting an announcement over the past few months but it never came... guess it might just be a droplet? At least it hasn't been an INSANE amount of time since Electric Light, and especially that little EP he dropped.

Yeah both of them are perfect examples of how insanely versatile she is. I wasn't a fan of her when these dropped but that would've been funny to witness

Cassadee Pope and Kacey Musgraves, but Tenille has similarities to all 3 on this. An enjoyable & consistent record.

but messy is nothing new for Kesha! We should all be used to it by now! There's still a few tracks that overstep the line

for sure, though the rest of the tracklist is fun enough to keep me satisfied.

Wait I didn't realize you only do "singles"  Honestly I would count Fresh Laundry, Regulars, Devil I Know, Love Me Wrong and even Susie Save Your Love as singles, cause we got single covers and even remixes!

 

I was about to drag It's Only a Heartbreak as a choice, but obviously Somebody and Come Over are the only other singles  Bye Bye Baby on the other hand is amazing and mess at Dagny literally having 80% of the album in your top Deserved

Vulnerable, So Bad and Leave It Beautiful are all highlights of their albums

 

And so happy to see good to know as SOLID

I really like To Die For, probably the Sam single I would keep from this year (maybe even over Diamonds? a little to early to tell though)

YSPJHU deserved a little better but I'm just glad it is charting at all

Oh I forgot about Paranoid, it was cute! nothing super memorable though
