fireaero Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Your albums list just called me tasteless and unworthy
potent Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Fiona and Jessie I see plenty of other good albums there too, although Dua and Abel had my expectations a little too high tbh
ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted December 1, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 1, 2020 Love the album list Ellie, Jessie, Rina, Dua x2, Christine, Kylie, Roisin, RAYE
Pink Matter Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Lowkey want to see CFN + FN snatch your #1 albums and Levitating snatch your #1 singles list Also love a lot of those albums you posted

Left is Skott - Always Live For Always, she is a Swedish indie pop gurl. Very low key artpop/synthpop project with some folk influences, it doesn't have striking stand outs, but it's a pleasant listen as a whole. I really recommend her pre-album stand alones too - Lack of Emotion, Mermaid. Right is Jojo - good to know. This was kinda panned nn, but I found it to be a nice balance of sexy rnb bops and emotional mid tempos, Jojo is a great vocalist. Some tracks are straight up what I thought (and wished) Ariana would deliver with positions. YES it is. 11 hours ago, mxoonlight said: stan in a dream King did that, we need a full album of this serve tho 9 hours ago, fireaero said: Your albums list just called me tasteless and unworthy The lies, we literally have the same taste king 8 hours ago, potent said: Fiona and Jessie I see plenty of other good albums there too, although Dua and Abel had my expectations a little too high tbh Abel definitely didn't drop some career peak, but the stand outs were good enough to carry the album. Fun is the best description of music dominating my 2020 Side note: I swear if y'all still hate CFN I'm gonna be very disappointed. It IS good, both The Blessed Madonna seamless DJ Mix and full extended versions album. Not every track is excellent, but the stand outs manage to even elevate the actual songs. Doubters should revisit without the ATRL hate train on their mind
bestfiction Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Great picks mostly, aside from Jojo people are doing too much on CFN tbh, it's obviously not as good and the original album but it's not an unlistenable mess either. That being said, the Blessed Madonna remixes memes are absolutely hilarious

Blue Rose Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 One of your honorable mentions is literally in my top10. The snub of the century Spoiler justice for græ Actually 4-5 of these albums will be ranked on my list. The taste
Vilppu Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 idk what those replies are talking about sehun is obviously very talented in terms of having godly proportions and lusting for older men and like what other skill do you need as a kpop idol will be checking for this x
Ewan Chaos Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 There's one album on your collage that I reaaaaaally did not like, 2 other dislikes, and one MEH, but the rest ranges between pretty good to flawless, with most of them leaning to the flawless side

BlackoutZone Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 This list features artists I've snubbed from the main list, but they still managed to catch my attention with their releases or I was obsessed with them just for a short period of time and they simply... aged J. Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Tainy - UN DIA (ONE DAY) I'm not a raggaeton fan by any means, however this song has very unique feel to it compared to other songs I've heard in the genre and obviously Dua being a part of it heavily increased my enjoyment too. It would be better as simply Dua x Bad Bunny song, but Balvin served his purpose. Romy - Lifetime Breezy, super catchy, super synthy track with quite of a replay value. Hopefully Romy releases more solo material. VÉRITÉ - younger women Might be surprising VÉRITÉ only made it this far considering I put her in my Top 10 last year however her new EP is just there, it's not bad, but I find nothing groundbreaking about it either, both of her albums are better. Still it was a pleasant listen and younger women is a stand out to me. Katy Perry - Tucked It's not secret Katy's new album is weak and the formerly stand alone single Never Really Over remains its best offering, but Tucked is one of the album tracks that I happened to loop quite a lot. I don't come back to it anymore, but along with Champagne Problems it was a still a hit waiting to happen! Skott - Stay Awake I've been waiting for Skott's debut album for like 2 years loving every single she put out. It finally arrived, it's pretty good, but she dropped what's best these past 2 years before the album release. Still, Stay Awake and Burning Incense are my favorite album tracks so I'll give her a nod. Alice Chater - Aries This big flop I swear to God I'm so over her, but I've been waiting for "Breathe" for so long and now that we finally got it I have to say I love it. Her output this year overall was very disappointing though, Ava won KABBA - Muscle Formerly known as A*M*E, Kabba dropped an EP this year that made 0 absolutely 0 noise yet it's filled with super catchy, basic, inoffensive bangers produced by MNEK. Especially Muscle and Glue, check it out. Tove Lo - I'm Coming Tove dropped so many various singles and collabs this year and honestly all of them turned out to be underwhelming. I still stan her, but she's been on some quality downfall lately. Yet I happened to play I'm Coming and Bikini **** from time to time, so let me put her here.
Blue Rose Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Romy’s Lifetime is cute. But Im waiting for the full album to really get into her songs. I cant believe she promised us a full album and all we got was this song + 1 unreleased. Scammer!
mokitsu Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I'm Coming and Lifetime deserved main list placements The Dua payola already
K$Ellie Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I'm Coming was nice enough and Bikini **** was a massive bop but that re-release had one of her worst songs ever Tucked is deffo the best smile album track for me I use most of the albums on the HM list, CFN making it tho kiiiiii Jessie, Ellie, Rina, Grimes, Yukika and Dua especially tho
ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted December 1, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 1, 2020 Lifetime is really good. Tucked is my favorite non-NRO song from Smile
