Lazuli Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Quote Future Nostalgia might be a clear winner in the top 2 race with Jessie for album of the year no its not remember where you are is a BEAST of a closer indeed magic ahhhhh cardigan just missing the top 10
Mark Rih Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Taylor OUT of the top 10, I know you did that on purpose (as you should ) 14-12 is that 1-2-3 punch
Mr. Loco Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 cardigan is such a beautiful song... Taylor did that
ikiru Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Remember Where You Are is so good Love is Religion is cute, but I didn't listen to it that much because it's part of such a terrible album cardigan deserves this praise, love that song

Cardigan is such a song, one of the few sonically on folklore I appreciate. Cardigan really stands out on folklore production wise so I see it 22 hours ago, Catch22 said: Shameika & Heavy Balloon taste at its best. Surprised you didn't mention cardigan with that avi, but yup yup 22 hours ago, dangerousalex said: Love Is Religion still goes Period, she better release OG soon 22 hours ago, dreamofyou said: love is religion, magic and cardigan, ur taste and cardigan one of her best songs? agree, everything about it is perfect Yup, it's insane how she just wrote it in one day like right away 21 hours ago, Enigmanotta said: I wasn't expecting LIR out of all Dua's songs released this year to make its way into your top 15! Great choice though, TBM elevated it and made it even better. Poor ATRLers failing to recognize CFN's potential, their loss, I guess! LOUDER! They are just missing out 20 hours ago, Remmy said: Interesting that you think cardigan is her best lead single, it's my last place by far The song is just alright, it never connected with me. Love Is Religion is one of the few songs I didn't delete from CFN A fun one. Remember Where You Are, a lovely ending to WYP? MESS really? I think that Taylor never head strong leads, which is kinda weird Period But I swear CFN is not that bad... 19 hours ago, Madame X said: its *really*hard to pick a FTBC pick, but i think heavy balloon is a good choice, overall your top songs from it are similar to mine. the rest of the update is good. its nice to see remember where you are get so much love, and cardigan is good, in spite of some people saying its only praised cuz its a single. I thought so, the only difference is I low key hate Ladies! Don't let the This Was 2020 rate get to you, cardigan is excellent and deserves the praise 19 hours ago, Blue Rose said: Legend Kylie and Jessie saved this update Please... eek, but yeah they snapped 19 hours ago, TheWayWeWere said: Magic makes some magic on me tbh Cardigan so glorious Love is Religion Jessie It's such a good single choice too 16 hours ago, JGibson said: cardigan Love how cardigan is well received here 16 hours ago, Legend E said: yes! someone finally picks heavy balloon magic is flawless! rwya is my least fave song on wyp love is religion + cardigan Mess I- I really like how it ends the album! 15 hours ago, Ewan Chaos said: Oh Heavy Balloon is not my #1/#2 Fiona track but it's AMAZING. Maybe even one of my favorite choruses on that album... that basically has no choruses. Magic is alright! Not my favorite from the album but I mean, it's disco fun. What's not to love? Yeah Remember Where You Are is a career highlight for Jessie and will remain that way. The perfect "you've left the club at 5am and the sun is starting to peek above the horizon, so it's time to catch an uber home and contemplate life" song. Ahh my ****ing fave. Love Is Religion remix is flawless. I haven't heard the original but I kinda don't want to and don't want it to ever get released because I like this remix so much? Shartigan is my least fave from Folklore xo but I can see why people like it, I guess! It's HARD to pick the ultimate stand outs on FTBC, but what are yours then! Yeah I felt like Supernova could take its place, but I saw my 300 nearing playcount of Magic and was like "this has to be there" Finally some proper RWYA acclaim, it's insane how this song kinda eviscerated Glasshouse while the album tried to master that sound well.! 14 hours ago, fireaero said: Heavy Balloon is fantastic YUP Your immaculate taste Tysm king 8 hours ago, rvx said: Cardigan Stan! 8 hours ago, K$Ellie said: cardigan is great but also bottom half for me on the album Love Is Religion is indeed v cute unlike the rest of that album I might think Remember Where You Are is a little overrated but the insult to compare it to Boys Will Be Boys Heavy Balloon one of the best on FTBC Magic one of the biggest bops on the album Well it wasn't that much of a comparison, they just aim for similar ending of the album sonically, but one miserably fails! Period 7 hours ago, geodancefreak said: Great update!! And I'm totally here for the Love Is Religion love, it almost ended up on my list too. It's such a great song itself, I hope she releases original version! 4 hours ago, Lazuli said: no its not remember where you are is a BEAST of a closer indeed magic ahhhhh cardigan just missing the top 10 well yes yes it IS But period And well some other track didn't miss it 3 hours ago, Mark Rih said: Taylor OUT of the top 10, I know you did that on purpose (as you should ) 14-12 is that 1-2-3 punch LMAO the way you thought, check the next update 3 hours ago, Mr. Loco said: cardigan is such a beautiful song... BlackoutZone Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 Best song on After Hours and his ber track since God knows when, brilliant climatic song. Kinda sad he released it pre-album, cause nothing on the record couldn't live up to its excellence. Best album track on DISCO, flawless glittery disco tune, heavily reminds me of Kylie's golden days of Fever. Supernova was close to taking this spot, but Miss a Thing has this timeless feel to it. It's not overdone, it's perfectly balanced. Best song on folklore and easily better than whole evermore too. I was starting to get tired of Jack's production, but he pulled another ace and found a sound that compliments Taylor's vocals and melodies like no other. Flawless song. Surprised to see this rather low on Best Ofs, cause it's fairly the biggest stand out on SAWAYAMA, it sums up the album sound and the balance between pop and rock/metal Rina tries to master. It's very playful, unexpected sonically and structurally, yet still super catchy and poppy! It's like someone asked Jessie to make a song that feels like having passionate sex and she did. The results are as orgasmic as making love.
