update #4!  Geordie Shore excellence Joel Corry is in update twice with both Lonely and then his collab with LGBT legend MNEK Head & Heart, truly deserved for the quality of dance music they put out.  I was not expecting Romy to also serve us with dance music with her solo release this year but she did that and more with Lifetime (now give us the album).  Ellie's top song in my countdown is Power, and whew I wish she was able to serve that type of quality all era long without having to put out those tasteless Side B songs.  Something I didn't expect was to like Poppy enough for even just one song to make my countdown, but here is her second song on my list.  It's just an album track from the deluxe, but it's a perfect mix of pop and rock into a STFU! like concoction  that truly makes me channel my high school emo years.  Following that is Dua's most dance-esque track from the new album, Hallucinate.  When everyone was Team Hallucinate or Team Levitating at the beginning of the year, it was so hard to choose what side to support as those are the obvious two best songs on the album IMO.  Aluna's peak in my countdown is here at #23 with Envious, a song similar in style to Romy's Lifetime a few spots above it.  And the last two spots today go to the top two Eurovision songs IMO.  I was so devastated Eurovision was cancelled because some of the songs this year were so insanely good.  I couldn't tell you who would have won, but I would have been completely shocked if it wasn't Iceland or Russia and hopefully both groups get a chance to represent their countries in the upcoming contest.

I can see that a little.  I guess they wanted the two Regard tracks back to back on the album which is why they kept the original.  The demo is cute for a different pace though!

It's what the airplane band deserves  I missed the chance to see them headline Marfa Myths a few years ago and I really regret that

At least you get to enjoy Jessie's album now!  Though a lot of her music prior to WYP? is more R&B/pop than it is dance and disco.  I found out last week that Jessie was Nicki's The Pinkprint

Glad to see some Alaska Sad love here  Tokyo Love Hotel is great too.  Rina definitely served quality with almost every track (other than Chosen Family) on the album this year

I forgot to write about that King Princess song in my post  I have loved the two songs she's released recently.  I saw her at ACL 2019 and she's a great performer and some of her tracks are truly outstanding, but she was making too much midtempo music for me to truly stan.  Now she's leaning into making bops and I'm 100% here for it.
