The numbers seem to confirm that. :celestial5:

UK Singles Chart:

#1 (=) Positions - 4th week at #1 (blocked Billie Eilish new promoted single with a music video and #1 TTH)

And the album is behind like 6 UK artists' debuts this week and 2 last week. Still hit #1 :celestial4:

For singles, yes.

In terms of albums, touring, cultural relevancy, and overall performance, no. Dua Lipa has the biggest album of the year by a woman along with Billie, Taylor headlined sold out shows at the Wembley Stadium and was supposed to headline Glastonbury 2020, Rihanna is still far more celebrated there despite not having released an album since 2016, and her overall performance is simply too weak to really proclaim her the biggest female act in the UK. If weeks at no. 1 were the sole criteria for success, then Tones & I is the biggest female artist there.

Not a queen (Taylor, Dua, Billie, Jess Glyne all take that crown), but still a success :clap3:

Her single's performance is impressive but it doesn't mean much when her brand new album is down to #9 after only three weeks and TUN is her only really big album in the UK. She's successful singles-wise, sure, but that's not enough to sustain a full career - she will continue performing arenas in the UK once touring resumes (good for her), with albums that perform middle of the road. Her performance in those aspects is good, but it doesn't even put her top 5 in the category of main pop girls right now. She's definitely in the top 10 most successful though.

Singles yes but not albums. I think Dua is till current UK queen since she is smashing in both departments.

there are 6 debuts on the chart this week.

No, but she topped the singles chart for 4th week and is predicted to top it for the 5th week. She has the longest #1 female song in the UK this year. That achievement shouldn't be overlooked.

In the singles department? Sure

Although SWU did worse there than in most other markets. And although she got cute peaks out of them, Boyfriend, DCMA and Good As Hell all did worse than they did in the US

FN sold like 200k so far, album sales arent what they used to be in the UK. Going Platinum is already very impress and she will have no trouble doing that. Anti didnt even do that good in the UK compared to the US so no Rihanna is not bigger right now than Ariana. Not even gonna start with Taylor
