who are eligible for BNA? i have no idea except if i could nominate some lesser known artists (who are not popular on ATRL at all) @supaspaz

Anyone have any great suggestions?

Looks like Phoebe Bridgers, Doja Cat, Melanie Martinez, Carly Pearce and Tones & I are some of the ATRL-friendly artists who submitted for the actual Grammys.

Unfortunately, we've already nominated Megan Thee Stallion, Blackpink and Rina Sawayama in previous years. Plus, Orville Peck was one of our country album nominees last year.

I have not listened to Doja Cat or Mac Miller's albums. Can anyone confirm that neither should be in the rap album category?

On this note, we need to decide what to do about Ava Max. She's never been submitted twice before Best New Artist, but she's never been nominated for that or any ATRL Grammy. Should she be eligible?

Doja submitted for BPVA and I would agree, Mac will definitely be in rap if he submitted.

This is exciting, I’m an avid forum reader yet an infrequent poster. Can I still participate? I just want to honor the people that brought me joy this year despite the pandemic (namely Hayley Williams, Chloe & Halle, and Jessie Ware, among others)  :)

Interesting. Mac submitted to alternative music album, according to GoldDerby.

YES please.

Reunions - Album of the Year, Best Country Album

"Only Children" - Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Best Country Song

"Be Afraid" - Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song

Gotta be creative, since we don't have Americana or roots categories. Please and thank you, everyone!

Is Bad Bunny eligible for Best New Artist?

I think he's ineligible because he was previously nominated as a featured act on "I Like It."
