DUA LIPA INVITES YOU TO “STUDIO 2054”

Quote

DUA LIPA invites you to come with her to “Studio 2054” for a night of music, mayhem, performance, theatre, dance and much more on LIVENow. The “Studio 2054” show will be a night like no other – this is reality and fantasy exploding together to deliver a brand new multi-dimensional live experience, as part of the American Express UNSTAGED series.

Shot live in a massive warehouse location “Studio 2054” will be a celebration of the unconventional and unique and will see Dua move through custom built sets; surreal tv shows, roller discos, ecstatic raves, trashy rocker hang outs, voguing ballrooms and diva style dressing rooms. Accompanied by a cast of musicians, dancers, skaters, aerialists and acrobats, Dua will be joined by a host of surprise superstar guests to deliver a euphoric blast of happiness and good times.

Featuring tracks from “Future Nostalgia”, “Club Future Nostalgia” and her debut album,
“Studio 2054” is a kaleidoscope of the past, present and future; real time and the imagination, adrenalin and excitement - all merged to create a whole new way to enjoy a performance.

Billie just did one, they are also a norm in KPOP,  Kylie is doing one soon too. We have to get used to these now sadly, pandemic stopped touring and it won't be back anytime soon.

Did you catch Billies at all? Was it overall a good experience if you did?

Im so excited to get a full performance of the album (if she includes it all on the set list obviously). I’m also really intrigued on if they are going to change the vibe of some of the songs to fit a tour setting eg. I’m sure the Love Again remix would be fantastic as a performance.

true. hope this turns out to be a success to encourage some other touring artists *cough* gaga *cough* to get their asses back to working

Why do you* think this?

because paying for something that will be on video streaming platforms etc in a few hours is something only fans would do unless there is a great hype for it. if it will be one time thing, the props effects etc. the budget will be wasted. yet more than one performance for something like this also seems redundant. woah this sounds like a very bad moment for music industry indeed :cries:
