It's wild looking at the radio breakdown of the top 10. Holy in its first week has almost the same audience exposure as Dynamite in it's fifth week (and with it charting 1-2-2-1-1). Dynamite has the lowest radio score and programmed streams score other than Holy (but they're comparable) and is in the middle of the top 10 for streams but top with sales. The things that curators control (i.e. radio and programmed streams/spins) are the things they have the lowest support on. The metrics that people, rather than industry (except to the extent that playlisting impacts dry streams), control, Dynamite does well in.

 

Would like to see how it does when it has AUD comparable to other songs as successful as it has been. Instead, you see tracks in the 30s with much fewer streams/sales/shazams with more radio - like Kings and Queens or ily. Wild.

Anyway...this song wont survive 12-13 weeks on the chart. Once they run out of remixes and alternative MVs, I'll drop off the charts like a rock. Happens when you dont catch GP's interest.
