Savage Love ft BTS

Noooo they did not :rip:

and some members think that Dua is the Queen of payola her team did nothing to make DSN to snatch #1 or BMH reach Top 10 when they had a chance

I generally don't want to get involved in this drama, but you can not compare Hello to Dynamite. First of all Adele doesn't have stans like BTS. Sure they may be some dedicated fans but generally it's the GP and casual fans buying her music. Secondly, unlike Dynamite, Hello was the first single from the follow up to the biggest Billboard 200 album of all time. It was a follow up to a force of nature, so obviously it was guaranteed to be a force of nature too. Secondly, Hello didn't just reach no. 1 in the US. It did so everywhere in the world. Literally everywhere. Everyone knew of it, everyone heard it. It's release sent earthquakes in the music world. Did Dynamite have any of that? MOTS7 may have sold 4M copies worldwide, but can you compare those numbers with 21's? Keep it cute and keep the titans out of your mouth.

Not only that but the fact that it clinched a 2015 year-end spot with only THREE weeks in the 2015 Billboard year shows how massive that was.

BTS going #1 for multiple weeks is the chart equivalence of those KPop stans spamming fancams in every viral tweet ever. :clap3:

I really do like the song and am happy for their success, but this kinda says it all.

I disagree with people calling it "fraudulence" since they're playing by the rules even if to an extreme, but it's very clear that so far, its chart success has been at the very least 75%+ exclusively stan driven (and probably significantly more than that). Only time will tell if this will translate into it becoming an actual hit once they stop releasing new material around the song for fans to consume en masse each week. This is low key kinda like a more extreme version of what Taylor has been doing for folklore but with less GP support and more intense stan support.

I... :deadbanana2:

I'd be fine with Say So, Blueberry Faygo and We Paid all leaving - never liked any of them. If Savage leaves that's fine as well - it clinched it's year-end spot.

So 911:

Quote

Also in the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs top 10, Lady Gaga vaults from No. 30 to No. 10 with "911," following the Sept. 18 premiere of its official video. The surge gives the song a second stint in the top 10, following its No. 10 debut on June 13 (concurrent with the No. 1 entrance of parent LP Chromatica on the Billboard 200 and Top Dance/Electronic Albums). Gaga owns the most top 10s of all female acts in the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart's history, with nine.

"911" also restarts in the top 10 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (No. 9; 3.8 million up 471%) and on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (No. 10; 1,000, up 1,110%).

Yeah, I do think so!

they’re probably getting a big sales boost this week, let’s see the streams, but it’s very high on radio, so i think the #1 belong them next week.

Hmm, wap may be the longest female-led streaming #1 since 2014; would need 9 weeks. It has 6 weeks, I assume it finished its 7th.

It just took back Spotify #1 after one day, and Runnin starts on US YT with 1.3 mil streams.

+ they say in their post: "Franchise" includes a lot of untrackable D2C/physical sales with uncertain weighting.

If that song debuts #1 :rip:

If so, it would be competitive with trollz for biggest drop, i assume. #37 spotify, #44 itunes, #29 apple rn.
