this isn't the disco quality we deserve

Jessie Ware is the closest we got to disco excellence this year... and she served up some amazing inspirations in her disco playlist

One of these is not like the other. You should've left it out, it has no business standing amongst the great disco pop bops.

Spoiler

Say So - 192 million views

Blinding Lights - 212 million views

Don't Start Now - 371 million views

Blinding Lights is synth-pop, not disco pop.

And you left out the best disco pop song of the year (i count DSN for last year):

“Musically, "Dancing with a Stranger" is a disco-R&B” - RapUp

Clearly you guys have not heard the drums on the song. Just because it doesn’t have a funky baseline that doesn’t take away from the song being disco influenced. On top of that, DWAS was the fourth most played song on the radio in 2019 and No.5 on year end charts. It definitely started the Disco-pop trend.

Yes, best trend in ages. I’d say it’s more of a retro trend, including both synthpop and disco. Everybody say thank you Dua and Abel
