Doing that while ALSO selling PURE album!

Imagine that, people already bought her albums in the past yet they are also streaming them!

She's so powerful :jonny:

She is doing that 14 years into her career.

She's second on Digital Sales, Second in album sales and fourth on streaming among females. That why she's the biggest female artist alive right now.

Also, there's a reason why her catalogue is worth all this fight. She's the MPG with the biggest catalogue.

And some girls can't even manage 100 million in a week with multiple streaming era albums. How embarrassing for them.

OT: Go Taylor! Glad Ariana still has the album debut record but this one is crazy. Half a billion streams in a week WHEW!

Well when you put it that way

OT: Congrats Taylor!

Rihanna is #1 in Digital Sales and #2 in Streaming.

Who is #1 in album sales and #3 in Streaming?  (Grande is currently #1 on Streaming, although hopefully #R9 demolishes. :fan:)

I guess he meant Billie as third since she surpassed Taylor in Spotify(not for a long time unless she releases tho :fan:) despite less streams overall

Adele for album sales probably.

A peak era vs a surprise album 15 years into the career

Interesting

So you are obviously saying that one has 15 years of work on her spotify boosted while the other one is new and having her peak :rip:

Spotify started to become popular after 2015 :rip:

What does that even mean... By that logic, we should see acts like Beatles, MJ, Madonna donimates Spotify and all streaming platforms because they have biggest catalogues and 30 years old work. :dies:

It doesn’t work like that. The way people consume music changes. If an artist debuted in Digital era, her strength would be digital sales, if artist debuted in streaming era, her strength would be streaming.

Also this post wasn't even talking about their general catalogues but their last eras(thank u next and folklore) since Folklore broke Thank u next's first day streaming record

I don't think that list exists but Ariana and Taylor are definitely among the 10, perhaps even 5 biggest overall

She's 3rd for females in digital sales, around 13th for album sales, and 4th in streaming. Or am I thinking about this wrong, maybe you're just talking about the current popgirls?

4th in streaming? Or do you mean Spotify? I'm confused

Cause streaming overall she's #3

You could mean Spotify and YT combined, I don't really know. That's why I asked!

Anyways, thanks for laying it out:

#3 digital sales

#13 album sales

#3 streaming (EAS)

Bonus: #3 concert tickets sold

Queen of Pop indeed :jonny5:

She did just release a song. I'm really curious to see if Taylor will surpass her and stay ahead, or if she won't surpass her, of if she will surpass her but Billie passes back.

You just love 3s too much. :toofunny3:

I would put it like this:

#3 Digital Sales

~#14 Album Sales (I forgot Alanis)

~#4 Streaming (EAS) [Nicki was at 14.5m almost 2 years ago[]

~#4 in Touring $

Not you counting all the features for Nicki Minaj:rip: Spotify doesn't count it on her pages. Se' barely at 10b now according to chartmaster's streaming tool page. And her official utube channel doesn't count those features as well.

Alanis didn't outsell Taylor. After 1st week of folklore she's at 55m pure albums sales WW.

CM's counting method for digital singles is clearly questionable since RIAA and Billboard both have different counting proportions for lead singles and features.
