Update: Taylor Swift's total now stands at 135 weeks ahead of the release of THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. Beyoncé climbs to #5 with 116 weeks following the run of TEXAS HOLD 'EM in th

That Rihanna Reign with less than half the number of top 10s as Madonna.

Just goes to show how massive her songs are. :clap3:

Adele has 53 weeks from 8 songs, I expected more weeks for her, I was also surprised to see RITD and Skyfall didn't go #1 there.

Oh wow! That top 10 is fantastic :clap3:

Rain On Me is still top 2, maybe Gaga can surpass Beyoncé or even Mariah :jonny:

but Mariah might snatch it back in december.

No one is surpassing Rihanna anytime soon. :rip:

Ms. Grande slaying! She’ll hit 100-150 with her next era. :clap3:

Skyfall had the unfortunate luck being released on a Friday (to mark Bond’s 50th anniversary). The track week in 2012 ended on Saturday nights in 2012 (prior to the 2015 re-shuffle).

It debuted at #4 with 84,000 pure sales (Behind 1D’s LWWY, Gangnam Style & Rihanna’s Diamonds) and the next week rose to #2 with 92,000 sales but behind the 135k debut of Don’t You Worry Child.

Impressive, although digital era and streaming era gave more longevity to the songs, I was surprised to see the chart run from some others old singles.

It's #4 this week, but I doubt it will be leaving the top 10 any time soon. It's smashing here.

Different times. Tracks have a lot more longevity nowadays.

I thought UK charts had some rules that were breaking the points in half after a certain time

We do. The streams-to-sales ratio for tracks whose sales (including streams) have declined for three consecutive weeks and have charted for at least 10 weeks is changed from 150:1 to 300:1 to accelerate the removal of older songs.

"Rain on Me" has been charting for 9 weeks so far and has been stable inside the top 5 for its entire chart run. I think it'll stay inside the top 10 for a few more weeks at least.
