Thanks for the suggestions @ceremonials and @swiftie13! I actually would have rewritten Breadcrumbs but as we're not allowed to rewrite the collab rounds that's not an option for me. It's hard to know whether to essentially rewrite a song that underperformed in hopes of making it better, or just tweak a song that did relatively well in hopes of making it smash. Hmm.

 

My question re: the retouch for @keshaspearsxo is, is there such a thing as doing too much to change it? Does it still essentially have to be the same song with just some obvious tweaks here and there or can just keep the same title/concept and rewrite the entire song?

Yeah. Some parts should be the same lyrically, or super close, otherwise it'll just be entirely a new song if you were to totslly rewrite it. It should also obviously have the same title, and be about roughly the same thing - although you could expand more than in your original entry
