It doesn't make sense that someone like Gaga than only has one streaming hit and one smash streaming album to be so close to Taylor's global numbers. Liddos' tend to inflate or straight up lie about her numbers. They do the same thing for her accolades.

However, I'm more inclined to believe InStyle, who sat down with her for this interview and likely got the numbers from her team, than ATRL users without receipts, and I think that's fair.

Jjang Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Would InStyle fashion magazine lie? 10 hours ago, Pop Art said: ...this came straight from a publication, we didn't inflate anything here. Then why didn't her team tell Billboard and all other music publications to report that as well? Because it's clearly not true.
cuneytb Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 But some artists are bigger on some streaming services than another. For example, Don’t Forget About Us has more streams (600m) on pandora which is more than AIWFCIY (which has 450m there ) Taylor is big on streaming services that show numbers, but maybe not that big on the other ones. Or maybe that article is lying. We can’t really know what is what till other streaming services show us real numbers like youtube and spotify does.

Maybe because InStyle was the ones interviewing her here, not Billboard or other publications? And who randomly calls up "all other music publications" to report their stats? That doesn't happen (especially with such a random number) and if it did, you'd be sure to twist it into her being boastful/not humble or something, so she'd never win in your book.
