So much better than last week (not that it would be difficult to beat it)

It was a great episode, I loved most of it. Olive Garden and Translator sketches were my favs :dies:

this was probably my fav episode of the season so far, but maybe i'm partial since ScarJo is my fav :emofish: this is the first episode in a while that's actually made me laugh in multiple sketches

Ladies with most hosting appearances:

Drew Barrymore 6 (82-09), 70s-born

Candice Bergen 5 (75-90), 40s-born

Tina Fey 5 (08-15), 70s-born

Scarlett Johansson 5 (06-17), 80s-born

She's an interesting choice as their favorite lady of her generation, as someone known more for drama and action.

‘Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update’ Set For Summer Primetime Run On NBC

NBC bringing Weekend Update back to Primetime? Smart move.

NBC keeping Jost and Che as anchors? Terrible move.

What?  Why?  So Jost can write even more jokes like his CLASSIC "pro-Bono" joke about the U2 lawsuit????  :biblio:

What a mess.  I've been fast-forwarding WU aside from when they have guests.

Anyway, last ep was okay.  Lorde was definitely the highlight.  Trump Dog was second.

Michael Che is great at Weekend Update

Colin Jost - while hot as **** - is one of the worst Weekend Update anchors in the show's history

So we should be seeing 6 acting nominees:

Baldwin, CK, Fallon

McKinnon, McCarthy, Wiig

I am so excited for Melissa but I HATE their schedule.

Why is it a month until the next episode and then another 2 week gap?
It's just messy.

Predictions on what they'll perform tonight?

Everyone is dragging their performance on Twitter

@IronStache: After seeing Chainsmokers on #SNL I'm glad I quit.

@JoeyOhio: I'm ready for The Chainsmokers to get Lung Cancer ? #SNL #chainsmokers

@BrennanCarley: Stayed up to watch the Chainsmokers on SNL and it did NOT disappoint (in being a total slice of mediocrity).

@PeteBlackburn: That Chainsmokers performance was the best SNL skit tonight

@sylvieroux: What's all the hype with the chainsmokers, they suck!!! #idontgetit #SNL

@narmscr: Turns out the only thing worse than the chainsmokers is the chainsmokers live #snl

I hope this makes Drew realize that he either needs to quit singing or take singing lessons. A cute face can only take you do far.

What all songs did they perform? Paris and the one?

Apparently it's Paris and break up every night
