Disney+ finding this "too adult" all because it's gay :rip: I know they own Hulu, but it's better than D+ anyway.

The Mandalorian

Unless they actually plan on exploring more mature themes, but then again... there is genocide happening right now on Disney+. So... :toofunny3:

There's no way Disney can justify it without sounding homophobic, but it probably does have a better home on Hulu.

Wow, that was so adorable. A shame Disney+ thinks this is too adult for them.

Unless the very is Victor gargling on the barista’s nuts I don’t see how this is “too adult”

OT: excited for this.

Maybe they'll put it on Disney + for international audiences and then remove it when Hulu launches WW

Wish they would use actual gay actors for a change

Watch yourself, the true actors squad will tear you apart.

My friend works for the Disney+ UK team and told me this is still coming to Disney+ UK, but she may be wrong, idk

No this would make sense given what I said before. Hulu isn't international and they still need a platform to release this WW so unless Disney plans on giving this to Netflix

has anyone else read the script to the first episode? :cupid:

Yes and I’m already low key shipping Victor and Felix, I cant tell if the script is trying to ‘ship’ them or just setting up a strong friendship, but I’m kinda sensing more...

Love, Victor premieres June 19 – only on Hulu.

ABOUT LOVE, VICTOR Set in the world of the 2018 groundbreaking film “Love, Simon,” the series follows Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city, and struggling with his sexual orientation. When it all seems too much, he reaches out to Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of high school. The 10-episode dramedy explores Victor’s colorful and complex world, from his loving family, to his new friends and first crushes.

_____________

Apparently it was meant to be on Disney+ originally but we can tell why they said no :ahh: so Hulu took it!

It looks very diverse and rich in cross-cultural sexual discovery experiences. Can't wait! :)
