Spoiler

Rihanna

You Da One: a beautiful, catchy and fun dancehall bop from Rih

Russian Roulette: gorgeous ballad, the way she came back and stomped with this after the incident is what made Rih a legend

Pour It Up: Ya already know what I feel about this BIG ASS BAWP

Kiss It Better: cute choice, this is somewhere in the middle from ANTI for me

Overall: First of all, the fact you put so much effort into your EP made this whole listening experience even better for me, so hats off for that. I loved your title of the EP, I was in love with 3 out the 4 entries and the other was cute. You followed a clear path and this was an amazing experience! Excellent Job Erika :clap3:

Britney

Baby One More Time: an absolute classic, the peak of excellent bubblegum pop

Circus: Pop-perfection! Brit came through with her comeback in '08 and gave us one of the best songs of her career with this

3: we love a #1 debut, which is difficult to get, not everybody has that :fan:

Hold It Against Me: cute choice, not one of my favorite singles by her but it does fit your EP well

Overall: You picked 3 great choices here, albeit I have a little critique for you, which would be the title of your EP that I found a little lazy. I mean it works and all, but I wish you thought about something more creative, if that makes sense? Other than that little "flaw", your EP was very well executed and I enjoyed it as a whole thing :gaycat5:

Katy

Witness: a beautiful self titled track and one of Katy's most underrated songs tbh

Teenage Dream: a very cute single and it fits the concept/theme you are going with this EP very well

Walking On Air: a bit of a risky choice here since this is a bit panned among fans (I think? Maybe I'm confusing it with another track) but I love it a lot and it's my favorite track from Prism

The One That Got Away: beautiful and sad at the same time

Overall: I loved your title of the EP, you picked great choices and I enjoyed the songs that have been sent for it, you had a clear theme with your EP and I can appreciate that a lot

Janelle

Cindi: a beautiful live performance of a beautiful track, she's hitting those notes towards the end so effortlessly

Come Alive: this was a great performance too, everything you would expect from the Oscars and dem vocals WHEW [2]

Tightrope: OKAAAAAY MISS MONAE WHO TOLD YOU TO SNAP THIS HARD :wig: Ariana in the audience omg I c u Dessy :praisepoor:

Queen: The pitch of this video is too high, probably because of copyright? This was a cute performance, not as good as the first three though

Overall: I enjoyed your live concept a lot, it's not something I would have expected to see here and you did a great job with picking her best performances. I have find out here that Janelle is a great live singer and overall a very awesome entertainer, very well done!

This was a very great finale and all 4 of you have done an excellent job! It is going to be a very close battle. Congratulations for making it this far and may the best Lady win! I had a lot of fun being a judge this season most of the time, thank you @luckystrike :gaycat3:

oop sorree i went overboard like that graphics don't count anyways it was just fun to me but fff thnx everyone :heart2: even tho tbh wish i had more time to make an actual cute booklet like i originally had planned oh well i think the songs by themselves still highlight Rih's diverse discography which is what was the purpose for my EP x

oh wow, Erik came through with the visuals :clap3:

good luck to everyone!

Spoiler

Rihanna

You Da One: Issa cute song I like but is it really the most representative of her caribbean roots? You had the chance to include the acclaimed Work here sis.

Russian Roulette: Issa classic :praisepoor:

Pour It Up: Issa choice. I mean it’s not bad but why reuse this eh

Kiss It Better: Both Miss Teddy Sinclair and Miss Fenty did what they had to do here

Overall while I didn’t love 2/4 of Frih’s EP (the others were just fine) it is still one of the only two entries in this finale that actually showcase you know DIVERSITY so props for that.

Britney Spears

Baby One More Time: Ah that’s history. Usually when I see an entry I already know I skim through it but this we’re streaming it in full.

Circus: But wow what a comeback this era was even if she was dying inside I lived for it.

3: Love this but don’t understand it’s inclusion x

HIAM: One of her best lead singles don’t @ me!

Overall I hate to say it but you kinda miss understood the assignment young lady. This EP barely showcases the diversity I KNOW Miss Knee has in her discography, well it’s not that diversified but you still could’ve showcased her pop side in contrast with her urban stuff, it seems like you went the safe route sending beloved hits. The title is a kii for how lazy it is but I don't care about it.

Janelle Monae

Cindi: Still love this cute little song and I like it as an opener to the EP!

Come Alive: Oh wow the transition from Cindi to the beginning of this performance, come on cohesiveness :praisepoor:  I like this album track but I could’ve done without Billy and the awkward LALALALALA part which we had to skip chile.

Tightrope: Love this classic, lovely performance.

QUEEN: This song is alright.

Overall Miss Monae is pretty much the quintessential example of what a diverse discography is. I’m not sure if the idea of a live EP was the best idea given the quality of some of the videos but I love the idea of her showcasing her live vocals since she never had to send a sing off :fan:

Katy Perry

Witness: I love this song I was actually hoping you sent it for the title track round nnn

Teenage Dream: Well issa classic and while I think it’s overrated it still makes sense to reuse this one.

Walking on Air: Ok this aged bad but I still like it a bit.

TOTGA: Another one of my faves from her but I’m not sure if I like it that much in the context of this EP.

Overall I feel the same about this collection of sings as I did with Britney’s only this is slightly more varied in sound, maybe you could’ve written a little sumn to explain some of your choices and what side of Katy they showcased cause as it stands the EP doesn’t really sell her as an artist with a diverse discography.
