I did a lot of music exploration this year, so I thought it'd be fun to showcase that along with everyone else. This is also my first time doing a year-end list and it's been put together last minute, so I hope it isn't too much of a mess.

I’m not very familiar with their music, but Hallucinations was a nice tune when I first heard it. The EP starts off loud and upbeat, but tones down toward the end of the 5 tracks.

I came across one of these songs on an Apple Music playlist and was instantly drawn to its sound. The rest of the the tracks follow suit in dreaminess.

Outside of their album they put out this year, Terror Jr also released this recently. They’re simply fun and upbeat songs that I bopped to.

The production really reminds me of some songs from the 2000s or something, or maybe it’s the cover art… It’s still a solid EP though!

For albums... I just got into plenty of these artists this year (LANY, Empress Of, The Aces) St. Lucia was a big discovery for me but I'd say Hyperion is their weakest release. When the Nights is that masterpiece though. AIAG?, Golden Hour, Singular Act I, Sugar & Spice, SUPER SUNSET
2019 EPs: XYLO & Astrid were also in my HMs Carlie Really loved Junk, and her new single Side Effects is also excellence.

I lowkey hated the Astrid EP, the singles got less good as she released them (Emotion was amazing, TFO was meh) and new songs were dreadful

Didn't know Terror Jr released an EP, I've listened to most of their stuff but they haven't fully clicked with me

ddd, not you dragging Astrid's EP like that  Emotion is def my favorite from it, but i thought the rest was decent. as for Terror Jr, i've only listened to their work from this year, but it was enough for me

One of my favorite discoveries of an artist I had never heard of. I only liked half of the songs, but the one’s I did are soooo good.

I was pretty split on the songs released prior to the whole thing, but the rest of the tracks redeemed it for me.

I just found out that this was an acoustic re-recording of some of this band’s popular tracks, with only 2 new songs. But I enjoyed it considerably for me not to include it.

I’m glad Katy gave her some exposure and signed her to her flop label. I’m a sucker for slower songs and “I’ll Still Have Me” was certainly one of my favorite releases last year.
