Remmy Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 I remember when a lot of people were hyping up Ashley O but I wasn't feeling her Then again Miley disappointed me as herself this year, too. Lights Up is great Motivation As a massive 5H hater, I wasn't expecting one of the members to get me bopping but I'm glad it was Normani. Not sure if the others will ever be able to do it.
Pinkoverblue Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Rosalía almost making the top 50 list. I'm glad A Palé made it though, its a great song. Miley having a couple songs on your charts, she had a decent year. Florence + The Machine on here too

Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 22, 2019 Author Posted December 22, 2019 BEST SONGS OF 2019: #50 - #41 50) EVER AGAIN – ROBYN (Released: June 17, 2019) Quote The song is sexy and catchy as hell. What a great revival of 80s pop influenced by funk. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 49) PEOPLE – THE 1975 (Released: August 22, 2019) Quote The song shreds everyone's other expectations by invading our ears with blends of alternative rock and post-hardcore styling as well as some dance and industrial elements. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 48) ARABESQUE – COLDPLAY (Released: October 24, 2019) Quote This track doesn't sound like anything they've ever done imo. It's not a bad thing per-se but in the end it's really good, very unique sound and atmosphere. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 47) ORPHANS – COLDPLAY (Released: October 24, 2019) Quote Compared to 'Arabesque', this song is the 'The pop lead single' of this era. Reminds me of their earlier single 'Adventure of a Lifetime', which I love. But I cannot erase the fact that they might actually sampled Miley's 'Hoedown Throwdown' LMAO. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 46) CUZ I LOVE YOU – LIZZO (Released: February 14, 2019) Quote This song proves that Lizzo has talent. Don't let those people tell you otherwise. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 45) CIRCLES – POST MALONE (Released: August 30, 2019) Quote This song is very catchy, punchy, and contains solid vocal work from him. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 44) STFU! – RINA SAWAYAMA (Released: November 22, 2019) Quote I would never thought that Rina would release Nu metal song and I love it.The hook is great. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 43) THE ARCHER – TAYLOR SWIFT (Released: July 23, 2019) Quote I really love minimalism Taylor, so this song is really up on my alley. Also this is straight up from 'Melodrama', so it makes me like the song even more. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 42) AUTE CUTURE – ROSALÍA (Released: May 10, 2019) Quote This songs marks Rosalía’s transformation from her previous two albums and 'Aute Cuture' makes me even more excited about her new sound for her next album. Spotify Youtube Apple Music 41) FEBRUARY 2017 (FEAT. CLAIRO & YAEJI) – CHARLI XCX (Released: September 6, 2019) Quote Possibly one of my favorites from the album. Spotify Youtube Apple Music
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 22, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 22, 2019 Ever Again is a masterpiece. The Archer and Cuz I Love You are also good.
BlackoutZone Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 GREAT picks Ever Again is obviously fantastic. Arabesque is a stun and I consider it much better than Orphans, but loving to see both Lizzo's title track showcased her great vocal performance so I appreciate that a lot too STFU! as you've said was unexpected so the shock made me hate it a bit on first listen, but now I consider it yet another stand out in her career, can't wait for what's next
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 22, 2019 Author Posted December 22, 2019 BEST ALBUMS OF 2019: #50 - #41 50) ROUGUE – YUNA (Released: July 12, 2019) Quote This is pleasant album. I'm happy to see her stepping up her sound with the house influences. She's very underrated. My Recommendations: Blank Marquee, Pink Youth & Castaway Spotify Apple Music 49) FEVER DREAM – OF MONSTERS AND MEN (Released: July 26, 2019) Quote After their breakout hit "Little Talk", I never paid attention to their discography afterwards, but from what they did in their third album, it makes me love them. Everything is delivered effortlessly. This a step up to the right direction from their previous sounds. My Recommendations: Alligator, Vulture, Vulture & Wild Roses Spotify Apple Music 48) TIME FOR US – GFRIEND (Released: January 14, 2019) Quote This is really good album. All the song including the title track "Sunrise" are becoming better and better with each release. This one is definitely a grower. My Recommendations: Sunrise, You Are Not Alone & L.U.V. Spotify Apple Music 47) FALSE ALARM – TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB (Released: June 21, 2019) Quote False Alarm is a colorful, fun and energetic album. It owes obvious influence to '80s new wave. Great to see this band make bright, dumb pop again after taking themselves so seriously. My Recommendations: Talk, Think & Satellite Spotify Apple Music 46) CHEAP QUEEN – KING PRINCESS (Released: October 25, 2019) Quote This album is worth the wait imo. after months of releasing singles & EPs, she released her first album and it spans a broad range of emotional spaces and textures. ‘Cheap Queen’ is a step in the right direction for her. My Recommendations: Cheap Queen, Tough on Myself & If You Think It's Love Spotify Apple Music 45) SUNSHINE KITTY – TOVE LO (Released: September 20, 2019) Quote I must admit that I was so disappointed with "Blue Lips" and I though that I would lose interest with her new music in the future but this album proves me wrong. The production of this album it's interesting, with a lot of features that don't quite gel into a cohesive whole but the songs have plenty of ear candy choruses. My Recommendations: Glad He's Gone, Sweettalk My Heart & Are U Gonna Tell Her? Spotify Apple Music 44) FEEL SPECIAL – TWICE (Released: September 23, 2019) Quote To be honest, Since i rarely listen to k-pop songs this year, i forgot to put TWICE's 2019 discography in my best lists even though they released one of the best singles and albums in 2019, one of their album is 'FEEL SPECIAL'. this is the most mature and sophisticated twice has ever sounded without fully leaving their cutesy pop roots behind and features some fantastic and complex pop production. My Recommendations: Feel Special, Love Foolish & Get Loud Spotify Apple Music 43) LABIRITH, SIA & DIPLO PRESENTS... LSD (Released:April 12, 2019) Quote This album is everything you'd expect it to be and nothing more, Which is fine. This album is collection of nice & catchy pop songs. Sia's got a presence as the lead voice on the project, Labrinth is a nice touch as a co-vocalist and Diplo's production was pretty good. My Recommendations: Genius, Welcome to the Wonderful World Of & Thunderclouds Spotify Apple Music 42) SONGS FOR YOU – TINASHE (Released: November 21, 2019) Quote 'Songs for You' is a highlight in its genre. Tinashe capitalizes on her strengths to make an album that is truly her, putting out an album that feels authentic and wholehearted while pursuing her career on her own. My Recommendations: Story of Us, Feelings & Cash Race Spotify Apple Music 41) WHY ME? WHY NOT. – LIAM GALLAGHER (Released: September 20, 2019) Quote This album is a A consistent, colourful album and a huge step up from As You Were while being one of the most exceptional albums to feature his vocals. The singles from this album are all remarkable pieces of modern rock. My Recommendations: Once, One of Us & Now That I've Found You Spotify Apple Music
