Some of the songs are really great... But not all of the soundtrack it's amazing. I still enjoyed it tho Eurovision Song Contest Tel Aviv 2019 This year was the first time that I heard songs from the Eurovision competiton. I catched up with most of the decade compilation albums and 2019 was the best so far in my opinion... Maybe it's because the songs are from this year and sound more fresh in comparison with previous years. There's a lot of variety in this compilation, and I like a lot of songs. Instead of doing random pop songs she tried to make a concept album... But the problem is that the execution of her concept is not the best and I still prefer her debut album personally. The first half of the album is great! Then the second half of the album it's a bit boring. Also I'm not of mad with her for including "Señorita". It kinda fits in the album. The song that doesn't fit at all in the album for me it's "My Oh My". It's a song that could be a part of her debut album, but it doesn't fit on 'Romance'. It has great songs on it but my issue is that it's no cohesive... at all. There are songs like "The Archer" which doesn't fit with songs like "ME!" in the same album. But I still enjoyed it! But surprisingly most of the songs fit sonically On the bad side some of the songs sound the same or are generic/not memorable which can make you forget the album after you listen it a couple of times. There are a lot of great songs in the album where Avril showcases her vocals But then there's "Dumb Blonde": a song featuring Nicki Minaj which doesn't fit in the album....... at all!!!! After her debut album I was worried Melanie would continue to portray her artistic image as a baby, which was going to be weird when she gets old. I enjoyed the movie as well as the album. I don't have many issues with this album, but it doesn't have so much replay value for me. Favorite: Lunchbox Friends

potent Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 The only album I've heard from this is Avril's, I thought it was cute, only a couple songs stuck with me though. Yeah the lyrics were definitely pretty cheesy. Dumb Blonde is indeed terrible
