First of all, thanks for visiting my Best of 2019 Last year I was able to finish my first 'Best Of' on ATRL and I enjoyed it so I decided to make another one for this year These are the categories: ? Best Songs of 2019 ? This is the same category from the last year but I changed it a bit... Instead of doing separated categories for Best Songs released this year, Best Discoveries from this year and Re-discovered Songs, I put them all in one category. That means more songs will make the list. Instead of 130 songs (last year), this will be a list of 240 songs. It was the perfect series for me. Even though after some seasons the show started declined in terms of quality, but there were some amazing episodes that served a lot of quality and some interesting plot twists over the whole series. The CGI of the series was not good, so I kinda tried to ignore that. The evolution of some main characters was boring to watch or not interesting but there was one character they didn't screw at all: Regina. Lana Parrilla (the actress who plays Regina) was one of the reasons why I kept watching the series. This was one of my favorite scenes from the whole series. Her acting and the development of her character were amazing!! You never knew what's going to happen her. She started as the main villain of the show and ended as one of the heroes of the show Also the Score of the series it's amazing I felt so empty after the show ended, I still don't know what show to watch Revenge This is not a story about forgiveness. The first season of Revenge was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! Then on Season 2 the quality decreased a lot. I almost don't even remember what happened on Season 2 but I remember that season was so boring. Thankfully, the Season 3 of the show was so much better than the 2nd one and the ending of that season it could have also worked as the series finale I also enjoyed the 4th (and last) season. The last episodes of the series were so epic The acting of Emily VanCamp was amazing, and she was perfect for the role of Emily (same with Madeleine Stowe who played Victoria) Spoiler Kingdom Hearts III Finally!!! Since I discovered the franchise after KH2 was released I was waiting for over a decade the continuation for that game. Square-Enix released more games of 'Kingdom Hearts' after Kingdom Heart 2 but none of them were a direct continuation, and they were expanding the universe, so the story was becoming messier to follow and so difficult to understand with every release because they were leaving loose ends that were going to be answered on KH3. Yeah it sounds like a mess I know And after all, this game was sooo good. It was so much fun to play it!! The graphics and the visuals are amazing, the Soundtrack of the game spectacular (as always) and I loved the plot of the game. I know some fans were disappointed with the game but that's because after all of these years with the high expectations of the fans, there wasn't an unique way to satisfy everyone on the fandom. One thing I didn't enjoy was the cutscenes. The dialogue was great but sometimes there are a lot of cutscenes and they were so long, in some moments I found myself waiting minutes for a cutscene to finish so I can play. The open worlds of Disney and their design are amazing A lot of fans complained that the characters of Final Fantasy are missing in this game and I agree. But in this month, they're going to release a DLC and some of the characters of FF will appear As well new fights and playable characters (which I can't wait to play). The game it's already amazing, so I can't wait to play the new content that I'm sure will calm the fans with the disappointment of some things in the game. Spoiler Kelly Clarkson Where do I start? I discovered Kelly and her music in 2014 by listening a random mashup of "Skyscraper" (Demi Lovato song) and "Because of You" on Soundcloud I remember it was the instrumental of "Skyscraper" with the vocals of Kelly, I thought she sounded so good and emotional (kinda like Demi) so I search the lyrics on Google and I found out that the vocals of the song were from a song titled "Because of You". Then I started watching her music videos on Youtube, I was surprised that I was enjoying all of the videos I was watching. In the same day I went to the store and bought the CD+DVD edition of her Greatest Hits album, so I could listen to her hits. I remember I spent all the day listening to the album and watching her videos. One thing that I do when I really start to like an artist is search information and get to know them more and more, and somehow I always get disappointed where I found out something about them, but with Kelly I found out that she's not perfect. She's real and that's better. If you watch her interviews from any year, you're going to see she was always being herself, even through her music. My favorite song of her is "Because of You" and I was so proud of her when I found out she had to fight with the record executive of her label who told her she was a "sh*tty writer" when she sang the lyrics of the song. And I'm not even going to talk about her battles with her record label RCA for the 'My December' album (where she rejected millions of dollars and stick with the original songs she wanted for the album). But let's talk about last decade... Even after winning American Idol in 2002, Kelly could get another #1 smash hit 10 years into her career ("Stronger" in 2012). She never changed who she was or was in the public eye generating controversies or even being a celebrity... So that makes it harder for a musician to get attention from the public. But Kelly relays in one thing: her talent. She's one of the few popular singers that never lip synced a live performance on her entire career, but not only that. Most of the times she sounds better live than the studio version, and that's pretty impressive (even when she does cover, sometimes she even sounds better than the original singer of the song ). As I said previously Kelly is always being true to herself, and I believe that is still the key of her success. This decade she released her most acclaimed studio albums (Wrapped In Red, Meaning of Life), scored new hits in her catalog (even a future Christmas classic ), she had her most successful tour, she won a Grammy (and was nominated 2 times for her last album 'Meaning of Life'). Aside from her music career, this decade Kelly join 'The Voice'. I know a lot of people complain about the show not caring about making a winner (and I agree 100%) but I admire that Kelly uses her platform to promote the artists of her team of The Voice (even contestants from another coaches team!). For example, she paid the recording of the album of one of the contestants of her team. She brought the winner of The Voice with her on tour and invited a lot of contestants from the show too. She also gave her performance slot on TODAY show so the winner of The Voice could perform her own song on the show. And a lot of things more... I admire all the things she has done for them, it shows she's really invested on the contestants from the show. And also she debuted her own Talk-Show (alongside of hosting 2 consecutive times the Billboard Music Awards) which had a great debut and ratings where she's also being herself interviewing celebrities, showcasing real and ordinary people who did something great, and opening each show with a cover requested by one of the members of the audience. Did I say she also voiced characters in animated movies (UglyDolls, Trolls 2). Kelly had a great decade without a doubt, I can't wait to see what the new decade brings to her. It's not out yet. Only a few original songs are being released along with the episodes. But I agree I'm a mess with the new releases. Last year I was too generous with Zayn because his album was released the day I was finishing my list
