25, Damn, Lemonade are great choices :clap3:

I don't really remember Ghost Stories tbh, but I liked the singles.

I never listened to a Drake album, I tried Scorpion but it just dragged on too much. Nice for What is still amazing though.

Spoiler

:1stplace: BEYONCE - the reason why BEYONCE became the Album of the Decade over Anti are because of the whole thing, the whole project, the cover, the visuals, the production, the era, everything about it is so so great, so iconic, invented Friday releases and surprise releases, i just love it so much

:2ndplace: ANTI - the album was totally worth the wait, however it could've been better in terms of tracklist, like put BBHMM, 45S and Just Feel It on it and get rid of Pose and Never Ending maybe? honestly would've been AOTD

:3rdplace: HOB - AHHHH!!!! this is his debut and his best project EVER! and the fact that it could've been better with the OG tracklist with Crew Love (his best) and 2 other songs that Drake 'stole' for Take Care, would've been even better than it already is!

Blond - the 1-2-3-4 punch of Solo, ST, SC, Nights is otherworldly, Good Guy would've been included if it was like the live version, not to mention the perfections that are Close to You and Seigfried and his vocals AHHH i love him so much

H.E.R. - honestly i thought the songs were forgettable except for a few, but thanks to the grammy noms last year i revisited the album and WOW this was a masterpiece, a classic and honestly she's so dumb for not calling it THE debut album and now releasing garbage like Slide (it's still good but come on...)

WWAFAWDWG - BILLIEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! this album defined my 2019, honestly my first listen was like... bad guy is a HOT record and i was hoping the album was full of bad guys but xanny came and... hmmm... but no THIS IS GREAT, no offense but this is what I thought Melodrama was like, this album IS ME and it also went #1 on my weekly chart for 20 weeks which is insane and the most for ANY albums EVER and it had about 8-10 consecutive weeks at #1 (had to be broken by Steve Lacy's) 9 months in and i never get tired of this album which is rare

Caracal - my perfect idea of a perfect House album! honestly though, if Azealia Banks released F2 it would've taken this place but oh well... the collabs on this album are great, the production is dope

reputation - the OG WWAFAWDWG, i LOVE bad Taylor or maybe i just love dark albums like these... the way this is her worst performing album since idk Speak Now? Red? debut? is a crime, i wish this had better singles and more videos

ICWD - i was confused to pick which Tinashe's album is my fave, but i had to land on this one, her debut project that's completely perfect and she made it by herself

The 20/20 Experience - JT's BEST ALBUM!!! I LOVEEEEE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! the production, the songs length, it's just perfect and it became the first album i listened to in 2020 just because :fan:

E•MO•TION, ARTPOP, 1989, Dangerous Woman, 25, Red, Lemonade, Dua Lipa, Born This Way, The Pinkprint, Aquarius, PRISM, Talk That Talk, 24K Magic, Dirty Computer, Lady Wood, 21, Songs for You, Starboy, Teenage Dream, Melodrama, Unapologetic, reputation, ANTI are some of my main faves here but there's still so much I enjoy on top of that :jonny5: Beauty Behind the Madness & Lust for Life have some very high highs but they were a bit underwhelming in general. Billie already so high, damn :soda: BEYONCE is a great choice for #1 :clap3: Even though I prefer Lemonade. Very great list overall!

I don't really remember what 2012 sounds like but I know it's from one of his good albums so I'm sure I liked it :lakitu: Oh yes at the BRIGHT appreciation :clap3: Definitely a highlight from his album, didn't deserve to be a deluxe track. Summer Bummer  Spiritual, Love Drought, Nobody's Business, needy :eddie: ilomilo, What Now, Rockin', Only Girl, Teenage Dream, Turning Tables and I Miss You :smitten: Don't Blame Me + Haunted :worship:

Spoiler

1. Kendrick Lamar - LOYALTY. (ft. Rihanna)

FUUUUUUUUUUU*K THIS IS RIHANNA'S BEST COLLAB!!!!! and to think i hated it on the first listen..... it grew on me as i played the whole DAMN. album and... yup SONG OF THE DECADE, PERIODT.

2. Azealia Banks - Along the Coast

a Kaytranada x Azealia banger? YUP YUP YUP!!!! it's chill and sexy, i loveeee her singing and if this was sung by Rihanna it would've been acclaimed like Kiss It Better

3. H.E.R. - Could’ve Been (ft. Bryson Tiller)

this is just a perfect male-female R&B collab, wished it was a Rihanna x The Weeknd song but oh well.... and i hate her for not promoting this enough, the way it went top 80 with just a video.... if she pulled a Hard Place promo for this, would've been a top 40 hit but oh well... wish it'll win the grammy

4. Rihanna - Kiss It Better

do i need to say anything? *chef's kiss*

5. The Weeknd - King of the Fall

a banger from Abel, sad that it's not on Spotify and it should've been on BBTM between Often and The Hills, the production and him just singing bragging about his success pre-BBTM era, the video is cute too

6. Drake - Crew Love (ft. The Weeknd)

the first time i heard The Weeknd's voice was on this song and i thought it was Justin Bieber :ace: and i immediately fell in love with his voice

7. Billie Eilish - i love you

never failed to make me cry, everytime... and i sometimes play this before i go to sleep just to cry myself to sleep, it's just so beautiful

8. Lorde - Ribs

the song that made me get into Lorde after i hated her for "stealing" Katy's grammys for Roar in 2014 (plssssss:rip:) a beautiful song with beautiful lyrics about getting old, i love the production

9. Frank Ocean - Seigfried

his best song!! period! the lyrics>>>>

10. Yaeji - raingurl

a deep house perfection! i didn't like it at first listen but then in April 2018 Dua Lipa played this on her instagram story and yup, instantly loved it and her entire discography

11. Disclosure - Willing & Able (ft. Kwabs)

another deep house/EDM perfection! i loved Kwabs' voice, the production too>>>>>

12. H.E.R. - Racks (ft. YBN Cordae)

loved it since the snippet was posted back in May 2019, maybe i rated it too high yes but anyways this deserved Slide's promotion, this is the one that should've been pushed not Slide

13. Tinashe - Player

honestly this song deserved to be her big breakout hit, a New Rules/Havana sized hit or at least half of it, it's a perfect pop song... i don't claim the Chris Brown version though:fan:

14. Rihanna - James Joint

honestly would've been my #1 had it been a full song, i just.. love this R&B excellence, James Fauntleroy is A GENIUS

15. Bryson Tiller - Don’t

another R&B perfection

16. Ella Mai - Boo’d Up

this is like... the perfect love song like... ahhh and the pure R&B production is taking me back to early 2000s

17. H.E.R. - Lights On

the production>>>> started to grow on me in 2019 though

18. Azealia Banks - Escapades

when this came out (which was messy bc she released so many versions) i couldn't stop playing it, i love her singing... truly her top tier song

19. The Weeknd - Often

just like KOTF, also a banger i loved most from Abel, wish he'd make this kinda songs again

20. The Internet - Girl (ft. Kaytranada)

thanks to Spotify playlist i discovered one of my favorite bands (The Internet) through that and this song, and Kaytranada's midas touch once again :clap3:
