Moonlightbae Posted December 22, 2019 Author Posted December 22, 2019 10. Ellie Goulding - Flux Quote I only got into Halcyon last year and was hoping for another Explosions / My Blood / I Know You Care and this song came close enough. probably my fave ballad released this year 9. Sam Smith - How Do You Sleep? Quote yasss Sam yes, it's very Ariana'd but who said it's a bad thing ? he sounds flawless on this kind of production! the chorus is really good. he better serve with the album next year, rooting for him. 8. Harry Styles - Adore You Quote still so fresh but I couldn't put it any lower I'm really obsessed with it and also so impressed with Harry, I wasn't feeling him in the debut era but this is IT it's so catchy! the harmonies in the chorus are beautiful, production is excellent, well done really. 7. Camila Cabello - Shameless Quote CAMILA she really didn't have to snap that hard... the intensity, the production, the way she's singing she has good songs but most of them could go to any other artist, but this one is really special. this is a whole new level for her and easily goes into her top 3 songs ever 6. Charli XCX - Gone (feat. Christine and the Queens) Quote truly one of her best songs production slaps hard! the bridge & outro are so good too 5. Mabel - Don't Call Me Up Quote the IT girl song of 2019 I didn't care for her at all before this, but when I first I heard it I was shook. it was so instant and catchy from the first listen. I was bopping for MONTHS 4. Tove Lo - Glad He's Gone Quote A ****ING GENIUS, my fave did that again this song came in the worst weekend of the year for me (life wise) along with so many songs I love (Ritual, Call You Mine, Miley's She Is Coming EP) and just made it so much less worse. just the like the BRILLIANT GRAMMY NOMINATED music video, the song is just a ride I don't know a better person 3. Zara Larsson - Don't Worry Bout Me Quote is she even real ? how can you drop a song that is THAT good ? idk a better person I couldn't ask for more honestly. Zara and Tove making a song together couldn't go wrong. this song is so catchy and energetic, you can't stay still while listening to it a shame epic ****ed up with this song too. deserved to be huge 2. Ariana Grande - 7 rings Quote another genius.... why are my faves so talented the sample, the lyrics, the trap production she OWNS at this point, and her rapping.. I was NOT ready. she's on her own league 1. Zara Larsson - All The Time Quote Zara Larsson released the best song of the year, and the world kept sleeping on her. I can't even describe what's so good about it. her voice which is literally perfectly made for pop songs. the flawless production that would leave any pop stan FLOORED, the "from the breaking of the day to the middle of the night" repeated throughout the song the SYNTHS the beautiful dreamy lyrics all of these and more makes this my song of the year. she better drop that album asap
