BlackoutZone Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 I'm such a flop for being so late with MUNA, I only listened to their debut yesterday and LORD! Love me some more Aly & AJ bops x Can't wait to get into their 2nd album as I will obviously love it too so I'm glad to see it on your list Outside of that - loving to see Want You In My Room, hating to see Too Much, very overrated imo Hit Me When it Hurts was a grower for me, but K-12 kinda aged quite fast while I liked it on first listen.

Remmy Posted December 19, 2019 Author Posted December 19, 2019 MINI CATEGORIES || PART III WORST ALBUM COVER P!nk 'Hurts 2B Human' Omg P!nk is melting, someone help her don't just stand there But uhmmm yeah, as if the album title wasn't questionable enough... WORST SINGLE COVER Lana Del Rey "some songs have titles that feel like you're typing out an essay - and this has one" (aka "hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but I have it") This image & the borders just send me a bit Like okay minimalist queen. I'm sure there's worse options from this year but this is something that quickly came to mind.

potent Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 I like the majority of your singles list, interesting to see Maggie already this high with a new single. Juice could've been higher though and Bad Guy being higher than Bury a Friend is questionable Not a fan of Never Really Over Billie and Foals album appearing here, especially glad to see Foals making top 10

The Moments I'm Missing • 10. Chloe 11. Sacred • 12. Somebody Special • 13. Is It Really Me You're Missing Thoughts~ Never heard of Nina before this year but she really did the damn thing here. Her songwriting is so personal. There's several moments where she tells you about her life, talks about insecurities and she really treats her listeners like they're a close friend - which is all very satisfying. It's generally a chill album but there are some upbeat tracks that really stick out and get you moving. The last 3 tracks end things so perfectly... an absolutely stunning conclusion. 05. All This Woman Thoughts~ Betty's 2014 debut was great, 2017's The Valley was close to hitting my top 10 that year (but it actually ended up not aging all that well), and her 2018 EP was solid - but 2019 is when she decided to drop her best work yet. This is SO much fun and she really filled the tracklist with as many highlights as possible. You can hear the inspiration from her previous releases and how they're all combined together to make this, which might be why it's self-titled. Now's the time to stop sleeping on her. 04. Carly Rae Jepsen 'Dedicated' Ranking: 1. No Drug Like Me • 2. Real Love • 3. WYIMR • 4. Julien • 5. Feels Right • 6. Party for One 7. Too Much • 8. NTIFY • 9. I'll Be Your Girl • 10. Did you really think she WASN'T gonna serve??? Because that's on you. Carly continues on with her amazing '80s pop sound, with a few twists and a hint of experimenting, to create Dedicated. As usual, there's so much to enjoy and the replay value is through the roof.
