Lazuli Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 roses, crossing, fixture picture, some songs i vaguely remember from albums that i vaguely listened to
Sbbmsve Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 YAAAS YAAAAAS! Roses is the only good song on that chaos, should’ve been a 7 inch single with a Chainsmokers remix instead of a whole ****ing album. Stan virile, fix pic, crossing

Body Electrician Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 not me quoting the replies instead of spoiler tagging them... it's been a long day Quite a few serves on Lost Girls but this is the one I find myself returning to most Quirky lil song from a fellow Welshie Yes he's a talentless hack who peaked in 2014 but he still manages to create some good songs (rest of the album was garbage tho) I SEE MYSELF IN YOU AND THAT'S WHY I ****ING HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes it's a cover but it's also the best song on Closer to Grey by a stretch.. they should lowkey go full time cover band
Sbbmsve Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Ok like aside from Mac Demarco and maybe Cherry Glazzer PERFECTION On The Wall noise pop masterpiece glad it got some representation. The Hunger but wow what an anthem.
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 10, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 10, 2019 home to you, the hunger and I agree on the wall
Ewan Chaos Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 The Hunger, not my fave of the songs/singles but I do really like it. Home to You, on the other hand, def one of my favorites from that album. Let me check out Cherry Glasses
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 10, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 10, 2019 ON THE WALL!!! it really is the best song on the album, I didn't know it's a cover though don't judge me wrong choice for bfl
TheWayWeWere Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Only heard The Hunger from this update, but didn't really like that Bat for Lashes album tbh
Lazuli Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 the mac demarco drag but true be the cowboy is really mediocre the hunger is one of the best ones on lost girls yes
K$Ellie Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 yes the i love you praise such a beautiful track and I deff agree that her stripped back songs are some of her best I mean bury a friend -> i love you was a 1-2-3-4 punch The Hunger was cute from what I remember but I wasn't a fan of the album

Body Electrician Posted December 10, 2019 Author Posted December 10, 2019 Oncle Jazz was way too long of an album but it had a couple highlights, including this stellar track You like flowers, I have flowers You like milk, I have cows Borderline was on this list until last week until I realised this was a far better song sounds like a cute mix of Innerspeaker/Currents - hoping The Slow Rush is a lot more this than It Might be Time/Patience... My first listen of this whilst walking home from work in early January is still one of my favourite musical memories of 2019. I almost had to stop in my tracks when I realised the absolute growth Lana has shown since Born to Die. This song manages to be both devastating and hopeful. he was a good friend of mine.... HE DIED ended the fentanyl crisis
bestfiction Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 oop, thanks for reminding to listen to that Tame Impala song I'm not really huge on "hope is a dangerous thing" but I can respect how Lana summarizes her career path, her life etc in the song. It's kinda a perfect way to end the album and the decade for Lana if you think about it
TheWayWeWere Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 I low-key hated Hope when it was released, but it grows so much with NFR release she just can't do something wrong
Remmy Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 hiadtfawlmth-bihi didn't manage to grab me but the single art is truly unforgettable
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 11, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 11, 2019 men i trust talent. I listened once to black belt eagle scout but can't remember much off it, I'm so glad I switched on hope is a dangerous thing whew
Ewan Chaos Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Still haven't listened to Tame's newest song lol. I actually liked Ain't Got Time! Or whatever it's called lol. Need more listens of "hope is a stupid feeling for this little house on the prairie to have on a summer day, but we all have that thing" before it'll really stick with me I think. Good Alex pick! Men I Trust... what a funny name for a band. Lemme check them out and the lyrical talent of this flower milk song.
K$Ellie Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Didn't like hope it a dangerous thing at first but it's quite cute in the context of the album not sure why it was a single tho The Tame Impala song was decent but their singles this era aren't clicking with me hopefully I'll like them more when the album is out
BlackoutZone Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Maybe a spill on Tame, but I like them equally and I'm just glad he is on track to release yet another great record
