Armani? Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 R&B Females With Most Top 10 Hits on R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart this decade as a lead artist #1 Rihanna & Beyonce Tied - 11 Songs I didn't count Apeshit for Bey otherwise she'd win. #2 - Alicia Keys - 3 Songs #3 Ciara, Monica, Melanie Fiona, Ella Mai, Mary J Blige - 2 Songs Honorable Mentions - SZA - Has 2 other songs not quite big enough to enter top 10, would be here if the chart criteria wasnt changed back in 2012/2013 Tamar Braxton - Has a few songs that went top 10 on Urban Radio, but weren't big enough on Hot 100 to go top ten on main R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart(they changed the chart in late 2012/early 2013) Jhene Aiko had one song as lead - "The Worst" that was urban radio hit in 2014. Not quite big enough for the main chart. Artists with one song - Keyshia Cole, Summer Walker, Jennifer Hudson, SZA, Fantasia, Elle Varner, Marsha Ambrosius, Mariah Carey Jill Scott, Keri Hilson, Kelly Rowland, Sade, Jazmine Sullivan, Brandy (dont think I missed anyone else, whew?) @Keith @jdmc218 @Thinking Of You @dabunique @cuneytb @Wicked

Keith Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Does BILG has a chance at making the Year End this year?

It might make the top 100, but I think they only show the top 50 R&B/Hip Hop Songs is different than R&B/Hip Hop Airplay. @Keith They show the top 100, so it might make it.
cuneytb Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Thanks for doing this. Which song by Mariah though?

Just wondering why didn't you use the Hot R&B Songs Chart from Billboard since this is mainly about R&B?

Commitment was a great comeback, but I just wish RCA put more faith in their R&B girls in the last decade because based on their singles they would TRULY dominate this list. (Monica, SZA, Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R, Tinashe, Alicia Keys, Elle Varner, etc.)

It seems like all of the J Records transfers (Alicia, Jazmine, Elle) when the two merged got the short end of the stick.
jdmc219 Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 @Armani? TLC also had one. As a feature on Crooked Smile.
