OffTheWall Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 This is incomplete. Michael Jackson sold 7 million albums in US this decade, and around 19 million WW

JustActinUP Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 Some of these numbers are inaccurate. Especially with global sales. Plus are catalog sales from those decade included?

Icarus Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 (edited) Artist of the decade Rihanna #13 behind Beyonce? Considering how Rih stans talk about their respective relevance and chart successes this decade I'm kinda surprised. Didn't she have more releases too? Edited April 2, 2017 by Icarus

It has never, ever been denied that Beyoncé sells far more albums in the U.S than Rihanna, however Rihanna sells expontially more albums worldwide. Did you not look at both lists, or are we purposely playing stupid?
Paola Bracho Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 (edited) What is Rihanna, the singles artist, doing there on that list?? This must be fake!!! Not to mention that some so called albums artists, who are focusing on an album as a full body of work, have sold way less than some so called singles artists!!!! Yea, this must be fake! Otherwise it's just embarrassing for some fanbases! Edited April 2, 2017 by Paola Bracho

She's #8 WW, unless you think US sales are more important than WW sales. Not bad for a singles artist. Edited April 2, 2017 by istan4badgalriri

She's a single artist when you take the singles - album sales ratio but when you release that many albums it would be a shame if she didn't make the list.

Rihanna will continue to sell more albums worldwide (as per usual considering her overall largest markets are, non-domestic, Global territories) once in her third decade also. Rihanna will also continue to be the bearer of the top-two best-selling albums by a Black artist this decade, worldwide, also. Edited April 2, 2017 by ParallelLines
