I am a fan and I agree with that. This also should be billed as her 7th album but apparently she payed a lot for Billboard to this be called "Beyonce and VA" so her streak is in tact. That silly. I, and many beyhives I know, are very tired of her, her tactics, ignorance and many many more things. She is losing a lot of her fans

What? :skull:

So Madonna can go number one at 60 and people can be mad but Beyonce gets to #2 selling the same amount as Caution and it's deemed a success because it's #2? :rip:

Not surprised that Bey's false "deity" image has begun to crack when there's only 11k people attempting to keep it alive.

Speak for yourself. You don't speak for all the fans. What in compilation soundtrack do y'all not understand?!? It's not a solo studio album, so her record is intact.

PLEASE. I love this album but don't like she wasn't hedging her bets, there's no way this would be "Beyonce and Various Artists" if this was #1 :rip: Same with The Carters :rip: It's smart I'll give her that

And people thought it'd do over 100k and debut at number 1 :ahh:

Pretty sure he was speaking for himself. Also, a soundtrack is defined as music featured in a movie. None of this music, apart from Spirit, is featured in the movie. Which makes this a new studio album by definition. Also, it is is no way a "compilation". What is it compiled from ? It is a selection of BRAND NEW tracks. And I don't even care about her dumb record LOL

If using that logic, then you might as well, as credit all Destiny's child albums to her name.

But the Hive constantly try and claim those sales as part of Beyonce's solo discography, that is what makes this situation so entertaining.

Stop acting as if this had hit number one y'all wouldn't have been screaming about it being her 7th number one album.

ASIB outdebuted with 4x the amount of sales. Congrats on barely outselling a 17 year old’s 4 month old debut album, I guess

It does NOT work like that and you know it :rip: Destiny's Child are a group. EIL is a collaborative album, just like Cheek to Cheek, "The Carters" are not some new band :rip: And The Gift is literally Beyonce featuring so and so :rip:

Who's That Girl is credited solely to Madonna despite her performing less than 50% of the album

This was my point. Billboard's constant changing of their stance makes them lose credibility. This is clearly a Beyonce album and anyone trying to say it isn't just look ridiculous, including Billboard.

Sis...it's still not a solo studio album. If it was, it wouldn't be billed as Beyonce & Various Artists(even the UK Charts has it charting under the compilation charts) It is a  soundtrack/compilation album, comprise of songs from other artists, and not just Beyonce, inspired by the movie. Obviously you do, or else you wouldn't be in here debating about this.

Of course it doesn't work like that. Simply using the flawed logic of singing most of the songs, which is irrelevant.  However, The Carters are a duo group, and that's how it was credited, and that's how they were awarded for the albums.  The Gift contains solo music from other artists and interludes from the movies. Plus if my memory serves me right, either RIAA or Soundscan(one of them) doesn't count soundtracks like Bodyguard for the artist total sales.

Take that up with Billboard. Call their office and express your grievances. :clown:

Why are you calling it a compilation album ? What is it compiled from exactly ?

And just like that, Beyonce’s #1 streak is over. :celestial5:
