EIL is a collaborative album, just like Cheek to Cheek, "The Carters" are not some new band And The Gift is literally Beyonce featuring so and so Who's That Girl is credited solely to Madonna despite her performing less than 50% of the album They literally are How are they not?

Aaron Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Anyone pretending to not understand how EIL & The Gift don’t count towards her streak are just being obtuse for no reason.

The Lion King: The Gift is a soundtrack album by American singer Beyoncé for the 2019 photorealistic animated remake of The Lion King.[3][4][5] It was released on July 19 by Parkwood under exclusive license to Columbia.[1] The album was produced and curated by Beyoncé and includes appearances from Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Tierra Whack, 070 Shake, Blue Ivy Carter and Jessie Reyez, as well as African artists such as Shatta Wale, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, among others. You must be dizzy from all that spinning, this is a Beyonce album. The end.

BeautifulFighter Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Just now, its_britney_bitch said: Explain the difference between them and Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett then Because Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are two separate artists who came together to make a co album and are co credited as leads. Same as Toni Braxton did with Babyface. EIL is credited to THE CARTERS, not Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z. It's pretty simple.

The Carters are a new act consisting of Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The same way MKS are not the same act as the Sugababes or Child Rebel Soldier is not the same as Kanye West, Pharrell, and Lupe Fiasco

Like, they formed a group to release the album under. It's like what Sia has done with someone else and they are releasing songs under a band name. I can't remember what it is, but it is slightly different as those sales are not credited to Sia's solo career where as those sales are counted to Toni Braxton's sales ( from the Babyface album)
Blade Runner Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 The Carters, compilation albums... Who cares? Those Beyonce's projects still flopped like hell. That's the point.

It's a soundtrack/compilation album, and both Billboard charts and UK charts both agree on this. Everything Is Love (stylized in all caps) is a collaborative studio album by American singer Beyoncé and rapper Jay-Z, billed as the Carters, their surnames by marriage. It was released on June 16, 2018, by Parkwood Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment, S.C Enterprises, and Roc Nation. Edited July 29, 2019 by BeautifulFighter
liberalmusiclover Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 I wonder when her next album is dropping. Probably next year since the GP ain’t here for this or her music with JAY-Z.
