Billboard already explained that Rih is the second best selling female artist of all time and BBC are usually extremly relevant and use receipt so it's the truth

I understand your point the problem is that if we do a difference and start to rank album higher than single it will be unfair for new artist. There is exactly the same problem for the new gen that sell 0 album 0 single and is full stream.

Total records sold is cool but I think we often overlook album sales. Having people buy complete sets of work, oftentimes 13 songs when only 1-4 are hits, says a lot more than selling singles. Especially if you're going to weigh a single sale the same as an album. 

 

And since when is the BBC an authority on sales?
