Well she never put her own spin in this performance, but I mean it's a tribute event so I guess she couldn't. This MIGHT happen on November or not (im so random.gif) The Totem Pole is a new social strategy game! If you love Big Brother and Survivor, you're going to love this game. A minimum of 13 players to a maximum of 20 players will be placed to live in one house where they need to compete every rounds The Totem Pole Game has five things that happen every round At the beginning of every round, we will play in a game for the Top Of The Totem Pole (TOTTP) The TOTTP is safe from the elimination AND the vote. The 2nd to the 5th placers of each round are also safe from the "switch" The challenge may be a combination of a mini round and a maxi challenge: Spoiler Mini Round - maybe online games Maxi Challenge - maybe sending in songs or videos or pictures It can be a song round to fit a certain theme It can be a video round where you might send in music videos, movie trailers, scenes, etc to fit a certain theme it can be a picture round where you need to fit a certain theme note: no need to stick to a certain artist here How to determine the winner: Spoiler We can go with a PANEL type or just have PLAYERS decide the rankings We could choose to have a set of judges or just have the players of the game rank one another where entries will be anonymous If we go with a panel, we will need volunteers to be judges of this game The top of the totem pole (TOTTP) will have the opportunity to pick who among the Bottom 3 to be in the last place and is at risk for elimination. This person will be named the Bottom Of The Totem Pole (BOTTP) Spoiler The Bottom of the Totem Pole (BOTTP) might be eliminated. NOTE: if we will have double eliminations due to great amount of players (if ever0, we might have double eliminations. If it is a double-elimination time, the BOTTP will be automatically eliminated The TOP off the totem pole (TOTTP) will come up and choose a number. Every player has a number with their name on it. Whoever is drawn, becomes The Switch for that round. Spoiler The Switch must then get back in line and select TWO players to switch positions on the pole. The Switch can NOT move the placement of the TOTTP. The Bottom Of The Totem Pole (BOTTP) has one final chance to save themselves.They will put their game in the hands of someone else. They will pick ONE Defender. Spoiler The Defender will go in front of everyone and make a selection: A: Save the bottom of the totem pole or someone else is eliminated at random or it can be a through a vote (or) B: Eliminate the bottom of the totem pole and get an ADVANTAGE aka Take Power in the game. No matter what they pick from the two selections, they are safe the Defender is safe from the vote, but they are NOT safe from the random elimination. If The Defender chooses to save the BOTTP, a VOTE to ELIMINATE will take place. Spoiler The surviving players will be given 12-24 hours to strategize before the vote. Whichever player receives the most votes will be eliminated from the game. The Top Of The Totem Pole (TOTTP) and The Defender are safe from the vote. ______________________________________________________________________________________ On top of that, there are hidden Secret Advantages and Expose cards throughout the house. If you find one you can use it, for example, some cards make people vote out loud, this could very well unleash drama into the house, and blow up other contestants games. In the end game after almost all of the players been eliminated the final three must face the jury, where a winner is crowned. Those notes at the end were excellent and she really HELD that final one. At times earlier on, it was a bit shrieky, so I had to cap your score, but she has such a powerful voice that works well in so many genres. Element - Psycho I have nothing to complain about here. Element - KatyCatPH Solid, focused vocals but nothing that really takes her to the next level Element - EriKills Compared to the other performances, this is so different given the setting and acoustic vibes, so it’s hard to rank. I think she has a very beautiful voice, but there were some moments where weaknesses came through. Element - Bjork Very tender and unique performance quality. I never rly knew what Bjork had in her but she kind of transports you to another place. Element - Invisibility This was solid, but I didn’t feel any moment of WOW like I did with the higher scoring vocals in this round. She is a stronger performer to me than vocalist. Element - Touch It fantastic ofc Element - EriKills v strong vocal Element - Overprotected I liked this quite a bit. She holds her own! Go Awf Bey TAYLOR SWIFT I know Taylor can sing/belt but this was anticlimactic. It was soothing and her vocals were well controlled and she knew her range but this did not quench my pallet in terms of her vocal skills BJORK I’m actually surprised by this and it really soothing, But no power house vocal. Kinda in the same boat as Tinashe. Some notes were definetly off LADY GAGA I guess Tony had to come along but okay. Her vocals were really great. At some moments it was untamed but overall really good. Also her lower register and dept was really something I never heard from her before. Slay a bit TINASHE God bless you this round. Her vocals were trembly and kinda flat. I don’t expect her to start doing XTINA like vocals but she could made ALL OF ME cover more vocal. She does better with her lower register MADONNA This was very cute. Her vocal abilities while singing is very clever. Her deep vocals and volume was nice in this performance but you can hear she was tired BEYONCE Okay this performance was good nonetheless, the intro was slightly shakey. Their was some messiness in the chorus but she recovered towards the end. @EriKills TINASHE Okay MUCH better than round 1. She delivered for America and provided enunciation and belts. Ill stand for Tinashe before I stand up for the US Flag again BJORK Her voice is very clear and relaxing in this one again. I don’t know if I’m listening to her remove the rest of the curse Grimes had on us but whatever it is was a decent performance TAYLOR SWIFT Taylor is nonetheless one of the most ORGANIC artist in the industry. She has controlled vocals but they are very limited. This performance she did have more vocally outstanding moments than round 1 MADONNA Okay she delivered a bit! The guitar and the vocals improved compared to the first round. The vocals are more energized, less tired and more clear. LADY GAGA Okay SNATCH ME UP GAGS. This is really angelic and goes well with the live instruments. The mixtures and useage of her registers and her notes is really great. However I’m not “wow’d” at this, yes it’s well done but it lacks a certain something to make me believe that this is definitely one of her "top 5 best vocal performances of all time”. I think it’s an interesting choice, I don’t think her voice suits this particular type of songs, or at least back then when her technique wasn’t as good as it is today. Sabbath: Psycho / Lady Gaga JazzGa was a full serve and I’m glad to see her appear in this round, it’s definitely the era where she solidified her vocals the most. I think this cover is perfect, she uses her soft + hard, high and low voices perfectly and then adds intensity at the perfect time. The ending is just incredible and so powerful. Sabbath: KatyCatPh / Taylor Swift I want her to do more RED songs with this mature voice, ugh the possibilities. At times I was like “oh I like how she’s singing this part” because you could feel the emotion, but then she’d stare at the camera and I would lose that moment ? It’s a solid rendition and it shows her growth as a singer, and the fact that it sounds so different from the original but still sounds good is a testament to her talent as a musician tbh. I also enjoy how nostalgic and sad it sounds this way. She’s not the best vocalist ever but this is good + she manages to play the piano at the same time, props to that. Sabbath: Erikills / Tinashe She has a cute voice, but cute voice is not enough for this song. I think what makes this song is how grand John Legend’s vocals feel during the chorus as well as the emotion behind pretty much every word, another aspect I did not get from Miss T. Her voice sounds almost fragile at some points, which surprised me a bit cause my last memory of one of your live performances was her doing actually really good both on vocals and emoting. It’s not terrible, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like there’s nothing impressive or special about this rendition. If I pull out a guitar one of my friends could do the same thing, probably. Sabbath: Overprotected / Bjork Ehhhh, I didn’t expect big vocals but the entire performance felt very flat and her voice was so monotone and emotionless. Fun dress. Sabbath: Invisibility / Madonna First of all, I was NEVER expecting Express Yourself to show up for this round kiii. However I think this is a smart choice, being good live doesn’t always have to be about pulling off incredible belts or the highest of notes. Her voice is very stable throughout the performance, even when she’s doing choreo, and this gen of girls could NEVER! I do wish however, that there was a little more to it vocally, so we could hear more of her range or that she altered the last chorus or something. Props for thinking outside the box, tho. Sabbath: Touch It YES, ABSOLUTELY. The arrangement of the entire performance is so good + the mini cover, whew. This still doesn’t feel like one of her top performances ever, but it’s just so right. I also really like how you can tell she’s having a lot of fun (even if the song’s message isn’t precisely…..fun). Sabbath: Erikills / Tinashe I scrihmd at the introduction. Cute covers, beautiful covers. It’s better than your Round 1 entry but for a song we’ve all heard so many times (even those who aren’t american), it doesn’t really stand out. However, I do love how clean her tone sounds and polished it is. Sabbath: Overprotected / Björk Love the whole mood for this. Much different to the first round, and while I’m not very fond of the way she approaches high notes (which unfortunately I feel this performance is full of), her voice is so much more interesting in this and all the “Björkisms” in it sound better. “I’m exhausted, leave me alone” Girl me too TF Sabbath: Invisibility / Madonna Her voice sounds so nice in this, wtf. Her tone is so nice and she sounds so confident. I don’t have much to say, I genuinely like this and was a nice surprise. Sabbath: KatyCatPh / Taylor Swift A perfect choice for Taylor tbh. She tackles the notes in the chorus really well, but what really sells it is the emotion she puts behind the lyrics, it’s so palpable, ugh this song makes me CONSIDER marriage. Sabbath: Psycho / Lady Gaga Incredible, showstopping, spectacular, etc. Tbh to this day I’m still kinda shocked she pulled this off the way she did. Her voice is so pleasant and soft but solid.
