I realized she can do folk genre if she gets tired of doing features for djs or rappers and I'll be here for it. I must commend you for a clever song choice, it def gave Miss Musgraves a run for her money since your songs were like in a same realm. My only issue is that I am looking for more emotion from this performance. Speezy: Alena - Selena Gomez - 7: Definitely more controlled than the other entry you sent. Also 3:10 and on was a good part of the performance. This one lacked some emotion and she seems very bored. Element: Round 2 - Alena - 7.5 - I think that Selena held her own here. I know you got a lot of teasing in the thread, and while Selena’s vocals aren’t the strongest, she kept on key throughout and has a very pretty head voice. This song choice didn’t allow too much of her range to be shown, but maybe that was a good thing nnn Pressure : Alena 7/ 10 she not known to have the greatest voice. But I like this actually. This was a good pick. And i do like this song as well. Dylan: Alena - 5: This is one of my fave Selena songs so there's that. But, you were sort of doomed from the start in this challenge, huh? I was about to drag you bc this wasn't her first but I guess it technically is. thecptz - Kacey Musgraves Merry Go Round Spoiler Yvess: thecptz - 8: No doubt, her voice is so angelic and it is so soothing to listen to on a rainy day most especially. It gives me Sheryl Crow + Leann Rimes lovechild tbh. I would have given this a more higher score if it was a different song. Just a minor factor for me that I felt like that the song didn't give her too much room to showcase her vocal ability. Speezy: thecptz - Kacey Musgraves - 6: Her voice is really clean cut and soft and strong. She really didn’t show off her power notes or anything specialty she contains. The guitar and openness of the performance helped. The first 30 seconds of the performance was good and the rest seemed just seemed “ok” Sabbath: thecptz - Kacey Musgraves - 6: she doesn’t have the most powerful voice but i do like her tone a lot. The song is pretty and peaceful but I feel like it’s a little too simple and her voice doesn’t show much range. Pressure thecptz 6/ 10 I'm not into that sorta genre but this is really cute, she reminds me of the old era Taylor swift aswell as that innocent vocal chord. Dylan: thecptz - 7.5: Kacey's not a powerhouse vocalist but she has a really pretty and endearing tone and that's what helps you out here. She comes across very genuine. Boys - Britney Spears Sometimes Spoiler Yvess: Boys - 8: First, that Hanna Montana wig keeps cracking me up I like this song and it made me believe for awhile that Britney can go head to head with Xtina vocally during their first eras. This also stands out from your competitors' entries since she is actually doing some swaying steps too. My only problem here is that there was a high note wherein she didn't get to reach and resorted to do a falsetto or she whispered. Nevertheless, you can be proud of your entry since it is not the worst one from your team. Element: Round 2 - Boys - 7.0 - I’m glad she did sing live in this performance at least. It was quite shaky from the very beginning. It could have been worse I guess, but I don’t feel this was very memorable or impressive in any way. Sabbath: Boys - Britney Spears - 6 : The vocals are really shaky and weak but I appreciate that this is a different performance. It does have some good moments tho and it’s nice seeing her actually singing (I’m part of the people who don’t mind the lipsyncing) and looking like she’s enjoying what she’s doing. Pressure: Boys- 8/10 - I admit Britney was never famous for her vocals. But for a young age she did become iconic I actually like this performance. I feel she sang much better and enjoyed performing so much back then. It makes me miss the old happy Britney. Dylan: Boys - 8: I think this was about as good as you could do with Britney this round. Sometimes is a vocal highlight in Brit's discog because she has such an undeniable and recognizable tone. That wig though... WHY THERE SHOULD BE A WINNER? the winner of this round is....
