I'll never quite understand why some artists sell albums and some don't. They can be equivalently good and have the same kind of music, but for some reason some are just "album sales artists" and just... sell. While others are streamed or sell live tickets. Who even buys albums anymore? Moms? People without smartphones? I don't get the appeal. It's like buying into an all-you-can-eat buffet, then ordering only from the menu. She's a streaming artist and she already got her streams. Her album's at almost 1.4B streams just on Spotify (over 900k equivalent albums) and over 4M pure single sales (400k album equivalents). Her piss poor release schedule just doesn't reflect well on the charts.
