Post the teams

I'll start by saying that many of you were amazing but I can only have four in my team. Still, some auditions were absolutely tragic and I can't wait to post my reviews!

JLegendX - You’re immensely talented, great belting. You can do wonders with your voice. For the future I want you to think more about control as a musician – I don’t mean vocal control because you’ve got that down, but being more selective about where to put the belts, the high falsetto parts, etc. For instance I didn’t love the choice here of the falsetto and riffing right off the bat.

thank you very much for your words sis... I totally get what you were saying.. in fact... I recorded the entire song and then decided to cut the last bit to send it here, so technically that wasn't my intended beginning (that was extra as hell XD)... but I'll totally make sure not over sing in the future :smitten2:

Bawdee - you have a beautiful voice, very soulful and with good breath control. Valerie isn't a song for everyone, but you gave it justice! My chair has turned around for you, it's a yes.

Fa1x intelectual - for some reason it sounds like you're about to burst into laughter anytime during your recording. You kinda sang through your nose and I can tell you were afraid to take any risks, so you chose a song that didn't require any vocal virtuosisms. I expect more from you in the future!

IMadeYouReadThis - you sang to me when we met in real life so you know that I think you're real good, the only thing you need to do is improve the recording quality because the volume was a bit low and we couldn't hear your vocals very well.

J Legend X - I expected no less from a fellow Christina stan. I love the drama, I love the operatic elements, I love the belting, I love the vocal power, and our fave's chair would surely turn upon hearing you. So did mine!

KatyCatPH - you have a very sweet, boy next door voice. Out of all the contestants, you're the one I'd rush sign to my label because there's a lot of commercial appeal there. It's not something extraordinary, it's a pop voice, but with its limits and imperfections it's very endearing and it doesn't get boring.

Kylie Jenner - I prefer your real voice, you should kill your alien alter ego and ship it in space. Still waiting for your cover of Silver Lining by South African Idol 2003 winner, Anke Pietrangeli that I requested.

Lukey - we've found our own Honey G! The flow, the sass, the British accent... I loved all of it, and I'm looking forward to hearing more from you. I know you're a versatile vocalist, you won't let us down.

MasterXPosed - remarkable vocal performance! You've been able to hit the right notes, and you certainly did the song justice. Once again my chair has turned quicker than a ray of light. Excellent sound quality, also.

Overprotected - I suggest to turn up the volume a little bit, I couldn't hear much. I can't really give a judgment based on this.

Sanctified - this was an absolute, utter, complete nightmare. You murdered the song! Without Me needs to be delivered with a certain anger and emotion in it, and you sang it like a church club song. Don't get me started on the auto-tune...

ultraviolence.xx - this is one of the strangest voices I've heard in my entire lives, I can't tell whether it's heavily edited or not. It's like you inhaled a balloon full of helium!

URBAN - I can tell you've got an explosive personality from your audition, and I absolutely love this! I can't wait to hear more from you. Just remember to balance the volume the next times.

Yomaku - I suggest you to upload your next recordings on a platform from whcih we can listen to it rather than download it. You have a very dark and haunting voice, I wouldn't turn my chair but I'd say yes in doubt.

Yvess - your voice is okay, a little bit pub singer maybe but I'd like to hear more from you and I expect you to change my mind with your next vocal performances.

Emily - what you did could be defined as art for intellectuals. Not everybody has been able to understand it, but I completely empathized with you and I was blown away by your vocals. I hope that when you do get dentistry, you'll be more confident and allow your whole personality to shine.

feelslikeadream - I like your tone, it's perfect for the song you auditioned with, it's very tumblr singer in a good way. In other words: your voice is a mood. It's a yes from me.

Well if this was an elimination round I'd be gone for sure. :skull: Thanks @Lémur and @KillingYourCareer for the comments, even though they weren't very favourable, I'll take them on board. I was more concerned with getting something recorded than song choice or vocal delivery or anything like that, but I'll take those into account next time. I mainly put the autotune and effects on because I could and I was too nervous to upload without it. Perhaps I'll get a take I like without it...

This is just the audition so it's to point out if there are any problems. Just remember to keep the auto-tune low and put more emotion in the song, if it requires so! Your mentor, which isn't me, will guide you and help you choose songs that you can deliver.

Thanks for the motivation, sorry to disappoint your ears with my cover. :dancehall3:

It's a song that makes me happy so I was just sorta smiling through the song

Oh my dear I agree and thought no one would point this out

You se, there are problems with me and vocal virtuosisms. It's actually the reason I hate Mariah (except for Fantasy and maybe Someday) and Ariana (except for Problem) because they're always goin for that "loooook at my raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaange and thin voooooooooooooooooice. I sing louder for the dooooooogs". Because that wasn't the kin of music I was raised with. I was raised listening to Bossa Nova, a genre that mostly just coasts off a pretty voice that doesn't do much, production to boot and some lyrics with a social critique hidden in lovey-dofey lyrics. So the reason I chose this song is, first, because it fitted with the 1 minute requirement nicely, second because it has a chill song about it, third because it was old and I'm a sucker for these
I thought, for a minute, of singing this, or this, but I'm not about to strangle myself trying to reach these notes.

Oh no I'm not asking you to do Ariana/Mariah type of vocal virtuosisms, just try to sound less......lifeless, but I guess it was due to the song being rather flat itself

It WAS a karaoke track

I didn't want to send an acapella because I remember seeing a X factor thread and everyone was doing a fully fledged production so I wanted to follow suit

Where are the teams we want the damn teams

Bawdee - Great song choice and I love your voice, it feels a bit too perfect which isn't a bad thing but i'd love you to shock us with future tracks!

Fa1x Intelectual - Adorable and knowing you for as long as I have I know how up your street this song is. I'm so excited for you to put your spin on some unexpected songs.

IMadeYouReadThis - Once you've sorted the volume, backing track, production issue out you're set. Great singer and yours is probably the entry i've listened to the most.

JLegendX - YESSSSSSS the power, the strength. Often people say less is more but you really did show how much you could offer in just one minute.

KatyCatPH - Ahhh what a song choice and you did it acapella, that's very natural. Good job!

Kylie Jenner - You might've snapped with the song choices, come through Alien. I want Vengaboys next please x

Lukey - vjguhvhjhvj I hate you :ahh: I can almost imagine you sending the group chat another strip tease to this.

MasterXPosed - and THIS is why you were a finalist last season. Very very strong, excited to hear what you do next. P.s i've been bopping to In My Eyes :katie2:

Overprotected - Yeah I can't hear you until the last 20 seconds which is a shame but I hear potential there and i'm glad this is a non elimination so you can move on and shine!

Sanctified - I disagree with KYC, I think the autotune is quirky here, although I hope your confidence grows enough to step away from it later on in the contest.

ultraviolence.xx - the LDR influence sure is real here, i'm intrigued to hear more.

URBAN - damn the volume sis certainly made me jump. Like the song choice, I mean it's no surprise given you stan her and you sound like you're having fun, nice to hear some personality.

Yomaku - oh hey Kobi Mirimi is that you? Super strong husky voice, that 'baby' bit whew sis I went a little weak that was hot. Started off a little nervous but you really stand out.

Yvess - Honestly I hate the song choice which is of course personal preference but I love you, i'm intrigued as you don't seem to give much away in your sig to who you stan/what you listen to, I want to hear more.

Feelslikeadream - omg this really sounds like the theme song of Gavin & Stacey i'm SHOOK. I'd like to hear more personality in your voice but not a bad audition overall.
