I believe Wayne holds that record with 133

She's got a long way to go but I believe she can get there

Oh, it counts features :chick2:

Serious question, does Aretha have any features or like duets/group songs counted because if not that's a ton.

But she hasn't had a hit on her own in years?

Whose mad, I just hate how they compare legends who worked way harder for their records to this flop ****. Plus it's way easier to chart now. Back then only singles could chart. They shouldn't be compared.

Just checked and Elvis technically holds the record with 149 (pre-Hot 100 entries are accounted for) following Elvis and Wayne is Drake with 132 (well now they have 134 & 133)

The most overall Hot 100 entries belongs to the "Glee cast" with 207:deadbanana:

Only 30 of those are her actual song. So 46 features.

About 5, so like ~68 solo.

Aretha's biggest years on the Hot 100 were during the 60's and 70's. At that time artists rarely featured, if they sang together it was an equally billed duet. Not to mention to chart on the Hot 100 then song sales were the determinant factor. And at that time singles were released physically on Vinyls :ahh:

You had your A-sides and then you could flip the record over for a B-side, alot of B-side charted as a result of A-sides I believe but it was a completely different time and era. Aretha is an old lady, 75 next week actually. :rip:

But the LEGENDARY Aretha's record was as a lead artist?

Queen Franklin is unbothered,

and her record still remains! :clap3:
