Domination Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Oh, it counts features Serious question, does Aretha have any features or like duets/group songs counted because if not that's a ton.

Plus it's way easier to chart now. Back then only singles could chart. They shouldn't be compared.
PoisonPill Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Real hits/classics vs. features with one week charting but

Aretha's biggest years on the Hot 100 were during the 60's and 70's. At that time artists rarely featured, if they sang together it was an equally billed duet. Not to mention to chart on the Hot 100 then song sales were the determinant factor. And at that time singles were released physically on Vinyls You had your A-sides and then you could flip the record over for a B-side, alot of B-side charted as a result of A-sides I believe but it was a completely different time and era. Aretha is an old lady, 75 next week actually.
JLO_FeEN Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 But the LEGENDARY Aretha's record was as a lead artist? Queen Franklin is unbothered, and her record still remains!
