Billboard needs a rule like the British charts one where the top three streamed tracks don't count for the album.

would albums like Camila or Nicki Minaj's Queen even reach gold w that rule?

Sis they still counted the top two tracks in UK, but they normalize and down weighted the top two tracks number to the average number instead.

BPI is not adapting Charts' Rule.. they're still counting streams as it is since day1.

why is boogie slaying? is drowning on this album?

That was an album and EP ago lol. He’s slaying because the album is good and Look Back At It, Startender, and Swervin are smashing the streaming charts.

Why would anyone follow the lead of the worst chart company ever :rip:

Many countries album chart have been followed the UK methodology on album streams.

This is why having a #1 album is stupid. It honestly just depends on the the competition for that week.

Longevity >>>>>

Sweetie being #1 in anything depends on the competition. :rip: And being #1 is never going to be stupid, in anything. Of course the labels and artists want to be #1. It’d be stupid to beg to be like #34 or something. This should not be an epiphany for you.

21 is serving longevity, holding at #1. Some can have both!

Yeah, but being #1 selling 50k isn't impressive. It's like an adult winning a game of basketball against 5 year olds. Even Xtina could have been #1 this week.

Letting one track out of 10+'s streams make up for 80% of the album "sales" is the only stupid thing here

it's an industry chart firstly so it should be transparent. such rules only make charts less transparent. if one song is able to carry album sales then let it be, it only helps people in charge to come to the needed conclusions.
