potent Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 I see 4 songs from the top 20 that are within 1 spot of where I placed them All the Stars was actually the #1 on my mid year countdown but I ended up switching it for a different #1 on the yearend A lot of alternative here, I tried to follow alternative music this year but it seemed futile like I was listening to 5 mediocre songs to get one good one. I’ll try to listen to some of the ones here though. I’m kinda interested in Kodaline, I came to love Honest and High Hopes.

I kinda agree, for me it was soooo hard to put together a top 100 this year and since the mainstream has gone sort of trashy (tons of random rappers and whatnot) I had to go for alternative music and this is the best I could come up with. Looking forward to see what's that new #1 you speak about and hopefully ATS didn't fall that far below.

Made For Now, Miracle and Sucker Punch I need to listen to in full. VERY surprised Ariana and Hailee made it here. Kinda sad Head Above Water isn't Top 10 ? Taylor and Happier slaying . I feel you on this year. It was one of my worst too. The music however seemed to be my saving grace for me. If you just ignored all the mumble rap, it's easier to find good songs from this year

Green Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 I didn't expect "I Like It", "Finesse" and "No tears left to cry" to make it. Great to see them here Also surprised to see All The Stars at #1. Good choice. Beautiful Trauma top 10 (it was #11 in my 2017 list).
lhdang2000 Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 All The Stars is not my favorite, but I can see why it's #1. Delicate + Say Something + Happier + Hunger. TMYLM so high.
Sunderland 4ever Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 7 Angus & Julia Stone - Cellar Door Great to see them. Superbly stuff. I'm miles away from organizing Top 100s from 2000 all the way to 2009. Great job there. Hopefully we'll have Spotify playlists soon?
-mUsIcLoVeR- Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I'll come back to this later, Mr. Link, to give full commentary on the whole list. Supporting an old ATRLer!
