I feel like doing a list of my fave songs in 2018 is too hard, and would probably be all my fave artists repeated so I decided to do singles only, I might do album tracks list too if I'll have time though. anyways, here we go!

 100. Jess Glynne - All I Am

d5abeca211197fd90b8582d7c7441e29.960x952x1.jpg

Quote

I never really cared for Jess other than her pervious singles, which were actually great.

I was ready to give her a chance this year but her lead single was so boring.

All I Am is such a cute bop though!

it was the only single I liked so I didn't check her album out, I probably will one day.

 99. David Guetta & Sia - Flames

David Guetta and Sia are a great team, they always give us the bops we need

imo Flames isn't good as their other collabs but it's still fun and catchy

 98. Marshmello - Happier (feat. Bastille)

Marshmello just keeps serving with his singles, I was sleeping on this one for a while just because I didn't care for the featured artist

my friend played this a few weeks ago and I was like "waiT". I love this song a lot, Marshmello can do no wrong

I can't wait for his next singles!

   97. Kylie Minogue - Dancing

I just got into Kylie's music last year so I was ready to hear new music.

Dancing was kinda underwhelming on the first listens, you'd expect her to release something stronger after all this time.

it's still a nice song and I bop to it, just nothing special.

 96. Mark Ronson - Nothing Breaks Like a Heart (feat. Miley Cyrus)

I wasn't expecting too much from Miley after the Younger Now era, Mark Ronson is a good producer though so I had some hype.

musically, the song still feels in the sound of Younger Now but upgraded in some kinda way (if it makes sense)

it's a cute, refreshing song. it's still new so maybe it could have been higher if it was released earlier.

I'm not here for this sound on Miley's new album though, she better reinvent herself.

 95. Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa - One Kiss

I'm always here for new Calvin music, even if I wasn't really into the Funk Wav Bounces era, and Dua is literally everywhere since last year, booking those high profile collabs, it was amazing to follow her since the beginning and see how far she came.

One Kiss is a standout these days where R&B and Rap music rules the chart.

it's a fun song for the summer and it's really radio friendly so I can see why it ended up being that big.

I'm excited for new materials from both!

? 94. Nicki Minaj - Bed (feat. Ariana Grande) ?

this song was dragged to hell, and I understand why. it isn't a huge bop you'd expect from Ariana and Nicki after their previous collabs.

I enjoy it though, especially while listening to Queen. when Bed comes on after all those rap songs, it's really refreshing!

the music video served looks aswell :smitten:

 93. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - Shallow

250px-Lady_Gaga_&_Bradley_Cooper_-_Shallow.png

Shallow is kinda overrated imo, I don't think people would have cared for it if it wasn't a huge moment in the movie.

I listened to the whole soundtrack before watching the movie and I didn't care for this song at all.

I don't think it's even close to be a standout in Gaga's discography, yet it's a good song with great lyrics.

 92. Alessia Cara - Growing Pains

Quote

I feel bad for Alessia :'( she's a great artist and I guess the BNA curse just hit her.

Growing Pains isn't as good as her singles from Know It All but still a cute song, it didn't deserve to flop that hard.

her album was okay, I hope she can bounce back next era.

her artworks this era were a serve tho :heart2:

 91. Lauren Jauregui - Expectations

cb691c0136de9f821aa87c3c7b6a0cb3.1000x1000x1.jpg

Lauren was always a standout in 5H, her voice is so special and I was always curious to see what could she bring with her solo music.

Picking Expectations as her lead single is kinda edgy, but I guess she wanted to show who she is as an artist.

at the end of the day she served quality and I'm excited to hear what else she got in store next year.

Like/love all of these songs, taste came thru :heart2:

The bridge on Happier alone should make it top 50 TBH. So good :jonny5:

Tea on Bed, sure its not a smash but the hate it gets is too much. If it smashed tho everyone would probs be stanning :-*

also nothing but T on Shallow. It’s cute but it’s so overrated.

Idk most of the other songs but if they’re this low maybe not worth checking out :-*

Dancing was a huge let down for me.  Glad you discovered her though, what's your fave album/era?

Growing Pains deserved better than the commercial failure that it is ?

Growing Pains + Shallow + Happier + Dancing

Growing Pains + Bed  All I Am, Happier, Nothing Breaks :eddie: One Kiss :jamming: Shallow :smitten:
Oh wow at Shallow being this low! I mean, I agree it's not a discography standout (that's ARUTW and ITA?) but it's still top 5 from ASIB for sure.

Posted

Growing Pains is cute but I definitely expected more, #92 is a good placement for it.

Dancing, Shallow, and Happier are a little too low though :eli:

Posted

I agree that Shallow is overrated, but I didn't expect for it to be so low.

One Kiss + Nothing Breaks Like A Heart + Happier. :clap3:

Great start :jonny:

Expectations is so underrated

Hello! :gaycat3:

Shallow, Dancing and NBLAH are all too low :'(

Calvin always knows how to take great bops out of pop girls, he and Dua really did that! ? I'm really looking forward for their next works for the following year!

At first Shallow was just okay for me, but after the movie it grew a lot, so yeahh... the movie is a great part of it's success

Flames and Happier :flame: good songs

One Kiss and Nothing Breaks Like A Heart ?
