Kevin2803 Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 7/10 Woman Like Me their best lead single since Move Everytime is one of Sweetener's best tracks
Dom Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 anna wintour proved to me that azealia has talent, whew. everytime is cute. woman like me is weakest little mix single ,imo.
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 30, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 30, 2018 Woman Like Me is weak but the Nicki verse is so good I love it when she says "I'm Really Mom" it cracks me tf up.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #40. This Is America - Childish Gambino The song has a messy flow. I clearly did not like it at first. However, the MV made me have a 180-degrees shift of opinion about the song. The social commentary are all necessary, lifting the spirit of the song. It was too powerful to not be a part of any year-end lists.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #39. No Anger - Charli XCX One of the few Charli tracks that I use. This one made me feel some kind of way and as such, this one sticks out as my top off of her latest album.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #38. Slow Burn - Kacey Musgraves Another Kacey entry, this time a song that could have been Kacey's signature hit. More Kacey comments in the next entry.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #37. Lost In Japan - Shawn Mendes I must say Shawn made a good choice in making this as the 2nd single off of Shawn Mendes. I was jamming to it since it was a B-side and now that it became a single, tho the MV was kinda lackluster, it became more of my jam.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #36. Valentine - 5 Seconds of Summer Exact same commentary as #36. I must say 5SOS made a good choice in making this as the 2nd single off of Youngblood. I was jamming to it since it was a B-side and now that it became a single, tho the MV was kinda lackluster, it became more of my jam.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #35. Apeshit - The Carters First, the video is one of the GOAT. The concept was just larger than life. Also, the easter eggs in the lyrics were stunning. Apeshit was just top-level track that deserves a Top 40 placement.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #34. REM - Ariana Grande This may be an unpopular opinion but REM is the best non-single remaining on Sweetener. REM is that whimsical, ethereal song that never wears out for me even a bit. For more Ari commentary, refer to the next Ari entries.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #33. Thru These Tears - LANY First LANY entry right here. This group has been such a smash here in the Philippines, and because of that, I believe the PH GP has taste. I'll save my LANY opinions on the next entry.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #32. Better Now - Post Malone This one is the best thing that happened to rap for me. The GP went right by choosing this song to smash among Post's B-sides and the decision to make this as a single is the best thing the team had. Better Now is too personal for a male rap song and the beat always pumps me up. Hence, it deserves to be the highest rap song in here.
TayRianaPH Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 #31. On The Low - Tove Styrke Another discovery right here. Idk what's with artists whose name is Tove but they all serve good music. Among all Tove 2018 songs I've heard, On The Low is my top pick, because it struck me the most at first listen. I also use some of other Tove songs, but this one is my jam.
