#66. Say Amen [Saturday Night] - Panic! At The Disco

Okay, this is like the best video of 2018 (one of). :worship2:

The video is like the normal Panic! MV-level of madness, but like stepped-up on another level. Not to mention Brendon looks great, this lead single to Pray For The Wicked fits perfectly and I could'nt think of better choice than this one.

Finally, the whistle note in the last chorus >>> your faves.

#65. Party for One - Carly Rae Jepsen

Is this Carly's best song?

Definitely not.

Is this the comeback I expected her to slay me?

Nope.

Was it good?

Umm, just like all her singles, yes.

Not my cup of tea really but, still better than most 2018 releases.

#64. Mariners Apartment Complex - Lana del Rey

Another not-so-slayage-of-a-comeback for me...

Surely, Lana del Rey done so much better songs, but hey I still jam to this.

I'll save my commentary for her other entry.

#63. Church - Fall Out Boy

Okay, personal opinion here but the latest FOB album was underwhelming for me. :sosad:

It did gave some good bops tho, and this one was the best out of it all.

Church is like, the perfect example of a perfect FOB formula bop.

#62. Honey - Robyn

The second Robyn entry out of… Let's see.

This one stomps on Missing U aka her title track. :fan:

Although I must say, Missing U did it's job as a good title track. Honey is like my new personal favorite when it comes to Robyn.

#61. Is That Alright? - Lady Gaga

The 2nd entry from ASIB soundtrack!

I'll save what I must say on the next ASIB entry though.

Fall in Line & Solo :clap3:

I Did Something Bad is the smash that got away. She should've released as a single.

Tell Me It's Over is cute :)

True. I was honestly shocked when she chose Delicate over it. It was like... a choice. But in the process, I kinda understood what she was going for. Still however, I can't forget (and forgive) how this was overlooked in the grand scheme of things. :sosad:

I thought most people considered NFW Drake's best this year?  Well, those of us with taste anyway.

I'm a lurker of the chart threads most of the time, and people LOATHE NFW there. :fan:

#60. 2002 - Anne-Marie

Okay, I didn't see this on many Best Of's. Perhaps 'cause it's written by Ed and ATRL are not the biggest Sheerios. :fan:

However, the song mad me bop some times of the year, and the hook easily contaminated my brain too many times.

Anne-Marie could've done better job by making sure the references were right tho. 2002 can't be 2002 when you're referencing 2000 & 2001 sis. :rip:

#59. Sober - Demi Lovato

Personal hits impacted me in a special way this year. :heart2:  First this and the other one, next. The storytelling in this one was outstanding, and you can see Demi painstakingly planned what she has to do with the vocals. The message was effectively delivered, matched with a catchy melody. And just like that, a perfect pop slow song is born. :clap3:

#58. I Like It - Cardi B feat. Bad Bunny & J Balvin

Billboard made some points when they named this as critic's choice #1 song of the year. I can see where the hate is coming from. But the GP said yes, the critic's said yes, so I say yes too.

#57. Jumpsuit - Twenty One Pilots

Okay, Trench has many golden tracks, so for some this song as a lead single was a choice too. I kinda agree when 2-3 songs fit better as the lead, in my opinion.  Jumpsuit in itself is a good song tho. The production was kinda all over the place, but still sounds so good. That's it another spot for TOP.

#56. Beautiful - Bazzi ft. Camila Cabello

Who needs Sangria Wine when Beautiful aka the better Camila collab exists? :fan:

This writeup is supposed to describe Beautiful, but I don’t feel the need to explain anymore 'cause the song itself is already god-tier. :alexz:

Lemme talk about Sangria Wine and  how disappointed I am with it tho. At first, I thought the collab would do great, 'cause Feels was a good summer song, but man was I wrong, the song is a huge mess. I didn't even dare to replay it. Sorry, it just didn't click. :skull:
