I don't really have much to post about each song, I like what I like :cm: I like making variety playlists of current songs to listen to throughout the year, my top songs of the year I post in my 'best of' always only includes the current songs, if I included ALL songs, there would be a lot of Janet Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Spice Girls, old Britney and Christina, Donna Summer, ABBA, etc. One of my favorites:

Oh I love bottom(post)ing in my own thread

Yeah I only liked 2 songs on it, a shame

Never Enough is great. The original can't be topped by 99.9% of existing singers but Kelly did a nice job.
High Hopes :heart2: Kream mmm she's a bop :jamming: everytime, we love a Sweatener standout :clap3:

Top 50 Songs #40-31

40. Never Be The Same - Camila Cabello

39. All For You - Years & Years

38. Get Out - Chvrches (the only good bop on the album)

37. A No No - Mariah Carey

36. Just a Stranger - Kali Uchis

35. Chun Li - Nicki Minaj (the Queen era was so lackluster, this is the last Nicki song Legend E :eli: )

34. Sweet But Psycho - Ava Max (payola works :cm:)

33. I Want Your Love - Chic/Lady Gaga (I liked the runway video version better but this still slays me, I love this genre, Gaga needs to do a Disco dance album)

32. I Like It - Cardi B

31. Make Me Feel - Janelle Monae

Top 20 TV Shows

#16 Homecoming

Related image

The camera work on this show was very unique, very Sam Esmail I guess, it felt dizzying and foreboding at times. The plot was interesting enough but was not worth all the hype, and I hated Julia's wig.

15. Dear White People (Season 2)

Image result for dear white people season 2

I watched both seasons of this show this year, I thought it would be a SJW cringefest but I actually found it to be funny and most of the characters to be likable but it did bring out my white guilt quite a few times :eli: . Also did you know the show is narrated by Gus Fring from Breaking Bad?

14. Kidding

Related image

It's bleak, it's messy, and Jim Carrey makes it work as the dark heart of the show. Also I've loved Judy Greer since the early 2000s, happy to still see her around :heart2:

I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE CUZ YOU WATCHED KIDDING :heart2:

But you did it dirty with this placement. DWP narrated by handsome King Giancarlo, yes I knew! Homecoming was overrated tbh. It wasn't bad but... Well I'll get into that on mine.

8th Grade is nice but not one of my favorites on Caution.

NBTS :smitten: such a grower and pop gem :alexz:

AFY :heart2:

A No No :clap3: I hope remix is real and coming :jonny:

MMF is too low :'(

IWL is okay, but not the best from the album. (And is actually overrated by ATRL.)

I need to see Kidding tho.

omg another one who appreciates Kidding :jonny:Judy Greer was lowkey misused but whatever still great!

DWP had a solid second season! idk what direction they're going for with that cliffhanger, still hyped!

A No No is THAT song :jamming:

Their last 2 albums were just too good I guess :'( I expected too much, Love is Dead is not awful, it's just..there, flat for me. Graffiti is pretty cute though ❤️

loved Kidding & Homecoming

I have seen 15 movies released this year, I will rank the 15 in order of my least favorite to my favorite. And to be clear, I actually enjoyed almost all of these movies, only one I kinda didn't. And one of the movies is just so polarizing to me personally (and many others I think) I'm just gonna put it in the middle :rip: and hopefully discuss it in comments.

Top 15 Movies (15-11)

15. The Meg

I'm a huge fan of shark movies, I loved The Shallows, Deep Blue Sea is such a fun movie, and JAWS is a classic and one of my all time faves. The Meg is not like them. First of all there's too much science filler that no one cares about, it's boring, it's a GIANT SHARK movie, give me more giant shark. Second, the quality of the movie just feels very SyFy channel original movie, in a bad way. And third, it just wasn't as fun and entertaining as I expected and wanted it to be. I did love the marketing posters for it though.

14. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Jurassic Park is wonderful, amazing, in my top 5 favorite movies of all time. All of the sequels do not and will not ever live up to it, but I know and understand that and take them for what they are. Fun dinosaur mayhem is all I ask for and every one of the sequels delivers just that.

Jurassic Park >>>>>>> The Lost World >> Jurassic World > Fallen Kingdom = 3.

13. Ant-Man and the Wasp

Related image

There was nothing really bad about this movie, I really enjoyed it, it was a little vanilla coming off of Infinity War and Black Panther, but Paul Rudd has always been a little vanilla though. Also I love Michelle Pfeiffer (whose name I've never not had to google to spell).

12. Deadpool 2

Image result for deadpool 2

It was good, it was just too much of the same, so I liked the first movie better. I did love the addition of Domino, Zazie Beetz hair is amazing and the Juggernaut was much better in this than in X3.

11. Love, Simon

Image result for love, simon

I have never read the book and I only watched it because Nick Robinson is hot :eli:

Also since this is ATRL, here's some more songs so people can comment on them if they don't care about the movies part :rip:

Songs #30-24

30. APESHIT - The Carters
29. Nothing Breaks Like a Heart - Mark Ronson/Miley Cyrus
28. Nobody - Mitski
27. Blue Lights - Jorja Smith
26. Without Me - Halsey

25. thank u, next - Ariana Grande
24. Happier - Marshmello/Bastille

I have more to comment on movies and tv shows, I think because with music, I basically just like what I hear, I don't over-analyze the lyrics, I'm a shallow person I guess idk :rip: I mean some songs I do study the lyrics or whatever but most I do not, alot of music is just background for my life anyway so yeah, thanks for reading.❤️
