Achilles. Posted December 15, 2018 Author Posted December 15, 2018 11-20 20. Ethan Gold - Sway Lake (The Song of Sway Lake) Great song, beautiful song. 19. Troye Sivan - Strawberries & Cigarettes (Love, Simon) I don't care for either of the things named in this song's title, but I am a big fan of Troye Sivan's very own rip-off of "You Are In Love." 18. Annie Lennox - Requiem for a War (A Private War) Eurythmics legend Annie Lennox pulled off a surprise Golden Globe nod for this haunting requiem? Does your fave have a requiem? No. Only legends have requiems. 17. Thom Yorke - Suspirium (Suspiria) I have not seen the film that this wonderful piece of music comes from, but I hear that Tilda Swinton does very Tilda Swintony things in it. 16. Andrea Bocelli + Matteo Bocelli - Fall on Me (The Nutcracker and the Four Realms) I'm not even going to pretend its possible that this duet between music legend Andrea Bocelli and his hot son Matteo is not the only good thing about this hot ass mess looking film. 15. Rita Ora + Liam Payne - For You (Fifty Shades Free) "For You" is an amazing and totally forgettable earworm that I have listened to like fifty times and cannot remember a single word or melody for. Liam Payne's best song. 14. Bradley Cooper - Maybe It's Time (A Star is Born) Jason Isbell did THAT with this one, y'all. Yeehaw! 13. Celine Dion - Ashes (Deadpool 2) The marketing team behind the debut of Celine Dion's Deadpool theme deserve all the Oscars. Also, can you believe that Celine's best original recording in the English language in, like, nine years came from an R-rated superhero movie? 12. Lady Gaga + Bradley Cooper - Shallow (A Star Is Born) For its unironic use of the word "hardcore" and the worst "stuttered hook" in recent memory / Gaga's career, I hope "Shallow" loses the Oscar. More likely, this will win Song and Record of the Year at the Grammys... as did such middle-of-the-road fares as "Need You Now," "Hello," and "Stay With Me." It's a classic, though, and mostly a great one. 11. Lady Gaga - Always Remember Us This Way (A Star Is Born) I hate every single person that stans for this gorgeous song and has never heard a Lori McKenna album.
Remmy Posted December 15, 2018 Posted December 15, 2018 Ashes is decent. Maybe It's Time I like it though it's not one of my ASIB highlights. Strawberries & Cigarettes I don't hear any similarities to You Are In Love though. Shallow is lovely, of course Always Remember Us This Way... Ally went OFF!!!!! Also, I don't know if I've ever seen the name Lori McKenna before So I guess ya hate me
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 15, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 15, 2018 the ASIB snatching. the troye sing was pretty cute as well and I need to watch Suspiria.. I heard the soundtrack was interesting
TheWayWeWere Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Requiem of a War is a masterpiece I hope Annie coming with album sewn For You pop gem, but yeah, kinda forgettable Ashes Shallow missing top 10

potent Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Shallow and ARUTW Alfie’s Song is a masterpiece though! I can’t at it being placed so low
